I use sand in my chicken coop, and this tool makes cleaning up droppings quick and easy. The design is thoughtful and practical. I’ve tried so many different scoops and shovels, rakes, sifters and different tools. By far this one is one of my go to. It’s light weight. Gets most of the poop only misses tiny or broken up pieces. I still use other tools for other smaller jobs or to grab specific things out of the sand like feathers but this one’s great for sand, straw etc. It definitely a top tool for chickens keepers.

This is a total game changer! I have a sand-filled run, and I used to waste so much sand when cleaning because the scoops I had just couldn’t catch all the poop and feathers. I'd end up scooping and dumping a lot of good sand. But now, this new tool filters out the poop perfectly and lets the clean sand pass through. This is such a good tool for keeping my chicken coop clean. I have sand on the floor of my coop, and this wide scoop does a great job. It is twice the size of my other scoop and cuts cleaning time in half. It is well designed and very sturdy. I like the wooden handle with the grip at the top. The whole design was well thought out.
