Monroe RoadMatic 181661 Suspension Strut and Coil Spring Assembly for Chevrolet Impala

First off their price is nice. Secondly they require no nonsense to prep. Take the old ones off (involves 3 bolts on top, and 2 bolts on the steering knuckle). Switch the new one in, and put the bolts you just took off back on. Process shouldn't take more than 10 minutes. It does After 200 miles no issues have been noticed. I had some coworkers in the car and they said it was a great ride (some other parts for the front suspension were replaced as well). So unless they were just being nice (trying to comfort me for spending 2 weeks on getting my car back together), the new strut assemblies (replaced both front struts) seem to work just fine. I replaced the original assembly after 160k miles. My car was feeling rough due to another issue, so I can't remember how my car felt in terms of the ride outside of the vibrations. Now it does feel very smooth. I'll update if any issues occur. For the price, ease and working as intended I'm giving these a 5.

Purchased a set of struts because of price. A complete new strut with springs and mounts,requiring no dissambley of old strut,just remove and install. A very eazy process on most cars. Ride quality is great and no problems even though this is sold as a economy product. I liked the results I ordered a second set for my wifes car with the same results. A great product at a even better price.

Replacement '03 Buick Regal front Struts went in very easy, ride is good and tight again. Eliminated a creaking noise when accelerating from a start. Feels like a lot new car now. For the cost I can't complain, very happy

These struts are awesome.At first I was sceptical because it seemed to good to be true. I installed them with my brother and the ride is magnificent. I've had Eibach and other monroes and I think these are the best I've had. Considering price and overall performance I would recomend them to anyone. The packaging by monroe was not so great. The box had no paper or peanuts or anything to prevent it from moving around. The sender was great amazon was and always is great and UPS was fast. I got it the earliest estimated date. I would recomend to anyone wanting to replace their struts and want a smooth ride. 5 stars

super easy to install, cheaper than a bare strut and a bushing kit. comes complete with new nuts and easy to follow instructions. if you can change a tire you can install these. be sure to go to the alignment shop as soon as you finish putting these on.

Easy install, fits well, works well...on first drive anyway.

Perfect fit at around half the price at the local parts store. Installation was simple, 2 bolts on bottom (use a breaker bar), 3 on top, remove, replace. Took me longer to change brake pads on my other vehicle than it did to replace complete struts on '99 buick century.

Have had them on for a few months now and no problems. Good struts and the fit was perfect.
