This is lovely
This must be the Bankura variety of patali gur as it's darker and stronger tasting than the light coloured caramel flavoured kind that I remember being sold as thick discs. Still, uniquely great tasting jaggery bringing back memories from a few decades ago.

I came across this product by happenstance and put in an order. It arrived in ten days. The gur has the right color, texture and flavor. It is delicious. Enjoying it as is, with luchi and in payesh and kheer. Resurrected long lost memories of patali gur in Bengal from decades past.
