I just received two of these log rockers and I'm very impressed. When ordering I was concerned about the quality and the finish. However, now that I have them, my concerns are gone. The finish is a glossy, rich golden tan/brown. The logs themselves all appear to be solid and all have a grove cut on the underside, which I assume is for expansion and to prevent splitting. The seat and back are 1/2" boards and surprisingly comfortable. And the arm rests position my arms perfectly for reading while rocking. I'm about 5' 5", if that helps. All the pieces including the hardware are marked for easy identification. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, I used a power drill, and a 14mm socket or open ended wrench. The kit comes with a 14mm tool to help when tightening the 6 bolts. All the screw and bolt holes are pre-drilled and recessed. All the mortise and tenons went together easily with a minimum of pressure. Initially I wasn't going to install the two seat supports since in my opinion they are just decorative, but then I installed them with a regular screwdriver, which took very little time. All in all it took me about 20 minutes per chair.

I was nervous ordering a chair like this online but I'm so happy I did! The chair is very sturdy, easy to move around, and the toasted finish is just beautiful. I can't wait to put it on my porch for summer evenings!

These chairs came well packaged with clear instructions. Everything fit together and they seem to be well made and have a nice finish. However, I know over time (unless covered) the sun and weather would damage the finish and cause splintering. I plan on getting covers for them for this specific reason. They’re comfortable, were easy to put together and lightweight.

If you are looking for that rustic lodge look, buy them. These are easy to put together and look nice. Surprisingly comfortable to sit in as well.

I bought two of these. Great size and easy for me to get out of even though lower than my other outdoor rockers. Assembly instructions are in pictures but easy to follow. I had no problems with holes not lining up, etc. Smelled a little weird for a few days...I think is was the finish varnish or whatever, but that went away. Nice looking chairs. I wish the wood was heavier, but for this price, good value.

We have four of these for the porch on our log home. They were easy to assemble, are very sturdy and last a long time.

Much smaller then it looks, alot lower to the ground d then I wanted, have another similar rocker that just dwarfs this one, also I though assembly screws were too short, added 10 additional 2 1/2 " deck screws, much tighter and feels more stable, before buying this one I would look at measurements closer and find one larger andvtaller

This rocking chair was very easy to put together. The chair looks great feels comfortable when you sit on it I have a cushion on mine it rocks smoothly.
