Edit: For awhile I was torn between the gray and the blue. Then I saw a video review of the blue and decided I had to add it to my small watch collection which is mostly Seiko divers. Later I bought the Sunray Gray Dial SRPE61. I love the classic Seiko divewatch design, and I don't miss the rotating "diver's" bezel. The slightly smaller size make a difference for me. The blue is very subtle in low light, but out in the daylight it looks very good. The 4R36 movement is an upgrade -- windable and hackable. It has a display caseback too. Lume is very good. This model has the shiny bezel. Look carefully before you buy. There are multiple colors and each has a choice between shiny or brushed bezel. I also got a 20mm blue silicone strap, which I have chosen to use all the time. It is a great color match. Good looking Seiko style and comfortable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083LGG7BL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The metal band looks nice and is comfortable. So I used it on the Sunray Gray SRPE61 which came with an ordinary gray Nato strap. This is comfortable and can be worn overnight with no irritation whatsoever. Mine came from "Wholesale Connection". Shipping was fast. It came in a box with manual and Seiko warranty card. I was pleasantly surprized when I wound up with a MADE IN JAPAN model. -Chris

Very nice watch for a great price. Certainly not at the level of a luxury watch ….but absolutely perfect for a $200 watch. I have already started shopping for another Seiko 5!

I've had a Seiko SKX007 for years. When Seiko discontinued it, and left us with the newer "5KX" model, I wasn't really happy. Neither was the rest of the watch world. But then Seiko rolled this watch out, dubbed the "DressKX", and it just works! I picked this blue dial one, which reminded me of the Tudor Black Bay. The blue looks dark navy in some lighting and brighter, sunburst blue in other lighting. The raised indices really make the dial pop as well. The watch has 100 meters of water resistance with a push-pull crown. That's fine, it just would have been better with a screw down crown. The bracelet isn't the best, but it's not the worst either. I'll be happier when Strapcode releases an aftermarket bracelet. Overall though, this is a classy watch that most Seiko fans will be please with.

I ordered the blue and received the Japan model which was different than what I guess is a stock photo. I added an aftermarket 20mm “Seiko” jubilee which looks nice on the watch. They are like $25-$30 via the bay. The 40mm size fits my 7.25” wrist nicely although I wear a 36mm Datejust as well. Again nice for the price and seems to be running well. A screw down crown would have been nice.
