Perfect for protecting my new countertop. I placed them under several small appliances. Bought a few for my son’s house as well.

After my kitchen remodel, the "quartz" countertops need protection. This is used next to cooktop to protect from inadvertent spoons or knives. Incredible thin silicon rubber gives confidence of protection on the large surface.

Cleaning this mat is pretty easy. I don't have a dishwasher, so it by hand and let it air dry. It's pretty straightforward.

Great product, that after buying the first two...I got 2 more. Just renovated my kitchen and put beautiful quartz countertops in. Wanting to protecting them, these got the best reviews and thought I'd try them. They are transparent enough to still see the quartz but thick enough to protect. I use one at my coffee/tea area and to protect during meal prep. They say they are heat resistant but I wouldn't use for something straight out of the oven. My cabinets were newly painted inside and out and I used several of these to protect them from heavy appliances that I keep stored. Price was great too!

The size of the mat is nice, covering a large area of my countertop. The thickness of the material is fine, making it very pliable to move around. But, with that said, it does move when trying to wipe it clean of any crumbs, etc. I haven’t used it for baking and would think the movement of the mat while doing any baking might be annoying. It doesn’t always lay flat either. There is side “bubbling” that causes 1 of the 4 sides to raise up at one point or another. I’ve tried to carefully stretch the mat a bit to see if that would help all 4 sides to lay flat but doesn’t always work for it to consistently be flat. Overall, I think the mat is OK because it keeps plates and glasses from sliding around on the granite. But only gave 4 stars because of the side “bubbling” issue and the movement of the mat itself on the granite.

I bought this to cover the counter area to the right of my stove where many things get set down during meal prep and cooking. I recently burned a dime size spot on my counter when I briefly rested a cast iron pan on it. I know this mat will prevent future incidents and save my countertop. It looks great, too, just blends in and kind of disappears.

These silicone mats have a decent thickness. Overall, quality is good.

This is my second purchase. The first one has been so handy we decided we needed another one.
