They have salt but not overly salted. I can see that some people might have a problem with them breaking up and delivery a little bit some bags do get a little broken up, but that’s what you do anyway before you eat it you break it up or you take a bite out of it I actually break them myself if they’re not broken because it’s just easier for me to eat. I love him. There’s just one major major problem, but I’m sure you’re aware of they are highly addictive. They are so good. Review: These have been my favorite pretzels for decades now. No oil or flavoring or unnecessary ingredients, these are the old style big crunchy sourdough pretzels in the box. No flavorings, just flour, salt, yeast and baking soda. I used to get these at the supermarket but nowadays they are almost always out of stock, so thank heavens for desertcart. I was reluctant to buy a whole case but I good a good four months shelf date from the order date, so I'll have no problem finishing off all twelve boxes before the expiration date. Some buyers have complained about broken pretzels but my experience of buying them online by the case wasn't bad, no worse than buying them in a store. Each case contains about 14 big pretzels and usually about half or two thirds are broken but the pieces are still big enough for dipping and eating out of hand. I've never bought a case anywhere with less than half the pretzels broken so it's par for the course with these pretzels. The only complaint I have is that one box had a tear in the cellophane bag inside so the pretzels weren't fresh upon opening the box, but they weren't really stale either. At desertcart's usual price here it works out to 25 or 50 cents more expensive than buying them at the supermarket, if I could still find them on the shelf. And I've never found another brand of pretzels that compare to these Snyder's hard sourdough pretzels in the box. It's great that unlike so many other traditional food products of the last century, they haven't screwed with the recipe or stopped making them like so many of the other great snacks and drinks and food favorites I grew up with. Thank you, Snyder's!

Great Bargain! But, having opened 2 boxes so far, these are seconds, most of the pretzels are broken. They are OK in freshness and taste.

These are my favorite pretzels. We started ordering them through Amazon because they're harder and harder to find in local stores. The Amazon price for Subscribe and Save is comparable to where the lower priced stores have priced the Snyder's Pretzels. The other kind of Snyder's pretzel our family likes is their pretzel rods. The Snyder Brand overall has the flavor we all like, not too dry, and just the right amount of salt -- some brands are just WAY too salty! For me, the Sourdough is my ultimate pretzel! One pretzel lasts a good long time - good for munching on when I want a snack with a bit of saltiness to it. At holiday time our kids and I use the Snyder Pretzel Rods, melt sweet cooking chocolate, dip the rods 3/4 of the way into the chocolate, and then swirl the still damp, chocolaty pretzel in rainbow sprinkles. Makes for a lovely holiday gift when packaged in bundles, and of course a yummy snack during the holidays. I would very highly recommend Snyder's Pretzels to anyone who loves pretzels, or those who like a salty snack now and then. For those who have larger families, or who go through packs of pretzels quickly Amazon's Subscribe and Save is a great way to get them. I really like not searching high and low to see if any of our local stores has the Sourdough in stock since they're becoming harder to find locally.

I love these and this had no malted barley and no fat. My last purchase not at all. They now have canola oil and I am allergic to that! It's now impossible to get pretzels that don't contain canola or sunflower or corn or soy. I can't be the only one who is allergic to these unnecessary ingredients!
