I have used them in all different kinds of compound microscopes and I have a digital microscope - they’re are good slides. I would recommend them.

does this contain any slides of the inner ear or retina?

I just checked my box and for humans it has: Blood smear, skeletal muscle, oral epithelial cells, bone cell & small intestine...others are not human...so no...

does this kit have allium root or some other plant specimen that shows all the different phases of mitosis?

数が多ければ、大は小を兼ねると思ったが、専門用語の翻訳ってむずかしいのか、文学的な名称が書いてあるが、何のことだか意味不明なものがいくつかあります。きっと専門的な用語を扱う辞書でしか調べられないでしょう。これを買う日本人って少ないでしょうから、しょうがないのかな。包装は良かった、割れていなかった。

This is a large collection of interesting specimens, well prepared, and importantly not only because the slides are glass (rather than the ubiquitous plastic of many other slide sets) but also because the sharp glass edges are rounded off and unlikely to cut you.
