You can barely feel them. The skin doesn't easily separate from the actual fish like a non canned product would. If you mash them, you will not know skin or bones were ever there since they desintegrate very easily. Overall, boned and skin on sardines is what you want to get the nutritional benefits of eating sardines, but be mindful that the ones in water have more fishy taste than the oil ones so if you don't mind that, these are great!

Una de las latas venía abierta porque estaba golpeada y se salió el agua e impregnó con olor a pescado las otras latas

Disclaimer: I can't stand these things but they are great for my dog and he loves them. My 55# dog gets about 1/3 can per meal so a can last a day and a half. His allergies have completely disappeared and he loves them. They are big and juicy and he gets the water mixed in (I do add water after the first serving and let them soak in it). I've tried other brands and I don't think that he cares but they look good to me.
