We use all natural blueberries, and in order to preserve their flavoring they are soaked in all natural apple juice. The concentrate is not artificial in any way. The product tastes great but I am giving a negative review for packaging and shipping. The boxes were shipped in an envelope. They were smashed to the point there was no box left. Don’t plan on giving as a gift
