YES!! YES, IT DOES HAVE A STRONG SMELL!!! The fragrance is extremely potent and pronounced. An incredibly strong cloying lingering scent that I can only describe as akin to the malodorous musky and floral bouquet of an elderly lady's heavily applied cheap purfume!

Will it work if you put in panties?

Hi. Yes you can. Just make sure you don't put it in directly in the crotch area. Only sprinkle it in your panties once you have them on. This powder works very well. I also use it under my breast. I hope this helps you!

Hi Joan, this powder is 100% talc free, and has a very nice scent.

Does this powder leave a white cast or residue?

It is a whit powder so it will leave some. I don't think it is noticeable.
