Sensodyne Clinical White Toothpaste, Clinically Tested Teeth Whitening for Sensitive Teeth, Stain Protection, 100ml

I would 0 star this product if I could. I used the non whitening version for one tooth that had some sensitivity in one spot after dental work a year or two ago. After just a few days of use, the sensitivity increased and spread to the whole tooth, not just one area. After a week of use, I was in more pain and teeth that had previously had no sensitivity or issues started to hurt. After reading online that there may be an adjustment period, I persevered for 12 days. By the end of this, my tooth was significantly more sensitive to the extent I couldn’t go outside into the open air as it hurts too much, and with most of my other teeth are experiencing aching and sensitivity. My gums burned and stung and the inside of my mouth peeled away in large skin sheets, it looked like I had a chemical burn, with raw, painful patches. I tried Sensodyne because of the hype and its reputation, but It caused so much damage to my mouth and had left me with a level of sensitivity I have never before experienced, leaving me unable to go outside. I am hoping that using my old Colgate toothpaste again will reverse this. I will never again be convinced to touch any Sensodyne product! I don’t know if it makes a difference or helps anyone, but I’ve read the formula changes- this was the blue gel version.

I absolutely love this toothpaste. First of all, it actually whitens my teeth. Not in the “maybe if you stare at yourself in perfect lighting and believe hard enough” way, but in the “wow, my coffee addiction is slightly less visible” way. I have super sensitive teeth (ice cream used to feel like a personal attack), and this stuff takes about 90% of that pain away. I can now drink cold water without seeing my ancestors. Hot coffee? Also manageable. It is basically emotional support toothpaste at this point. The taste is great, the quality is top tier, and my teeth feel like they went to a spa retreat. Now for the only two complaints: 1. The listing shows TWO in the picture but you only receive ONE. I was emotionally prepared for a toothpaste buddy system and instead got a solo act. Mild betrayal. 2. The price is a little high. My teeth are living their best life, but my wallet is in recovery. Overall: amazing toothpaste, 10/10 for performance, 7/10 for my bank account, and 0/10 for the misleading “two pack fantasy.” Would still buy again because my teeth refuse to go back to the old ways.

Great flavor and effective whitening. Helps reduce sensitivity while whitening.

It has not caused mouth sores like so many other toothpastes do. Good product and not irritating.

I buy this every year since we found out our daughter has unseen cracks in hwr teeth since she was a passenger in a motor vechile accident. The airbag went off I her face and she started telling us her teeth hurt every day and the Advil and Tylenol didn't work well as it did not last long. Dentist said either most of her teeth needed caps at five thousand each or we could try this toothpaste and she could brush her teeth three times a day to stop the faily pain. She said this tooth paste works really well for her so I buy it for all of us.

Sensodyne contains ingredients like potassium nitrate or stannous fluoride that penetrate deeply to soothe the nerves and protect the dentin.
