Great budget starter pond. Still going years later
I bought the small pond in August 2021 and installed it in a hole in my garden. It is still there and functioning as a pond. I don't use any fancy filtration, just natural bacteria, which I top up periodically with a sludge bomb when the water gets stinky. I have some pondweed (elodea) floating around. Some marginal planting, which gets churned up every year in frog breeding season and needs putting back in place once they are done. The pond is thriving, and gets filled to the brim with spawn every year. The tadpoles like the shallow areas. The frogs over winter in the deeper areas. The snails live in the plants and eat the algae from around the sounds. This year is the first year I have had to treat for green water, which is my own fault, as I did too big of a water change and upset the natural balance. This has been a great little pond. Super low maintenance. Easy to install, though as the plastic is soft and flexible, be prepared to shove handfuls of soil down the sides to support the shape when you plant it. If you do not plan to plant the pond, then be aware that this is not intended to be a stand alone pond and will need to be put in something solid - or you will need to select a different product. If you are planning a starter pond, it is worth noting that a washing up tub or clean large cat litter tray also serve well as good starter ponds, and these are solid enough not to need planting (though will freeze over winter). I started with a washing up tub, after a frog spawned in a puddle and I needed an emergency pond. That tub, which I later planted, is also still going, and is also still used as a spawning ground. The only adaptation I needed there was a broken plant pot to form a shallow shelf for tadpoles to bask on and something for my stubborn frogs to hide under, which also sloped close enough to the top of the tub for the froglets to exit when they grew their legs.

Second one of this
Just the right size for a wildlife pond. It will be supported by log rolls as we don't want to sink it in the ground. Yes it seems well made and although it doesn't weigh much it will be strong enough.

Ideal little pond liner
Initially I was not happy. My liner came in a plastic bag, it was badly damaged and dented. However, saying that I contacted the seller explaining this and to be fair they replaced for me and I received one the next day.... in a box. My new liner was still a little dented but was acceptable, I was pleased also due to it was replaced quickly. It is small, but that's what I wanted. It's more a water feature for me. I will be planting around it to attract wildlife. Pros Ideal for small gardens Seller was quick to respond Already shaped. Cons Dents easily Not really value for money as flimsy Not sure if big enough for fish, but I'm not concerned as I just wanted a fountain and plants. I love it even though it has Cons, I sit and relax listening to the water trickle. Can't wait for my plants to grow

Great buy, but with caution
Can't complain in comparison to the price, it's not thick and the rim is extremely flimsy but all in all good but for the money, would not recommend this for a pond though, I made a bog garden out of mine

Big enough for a couple of tiny fish
For the money - its not too bad.
