So we just moved and now have an electric stove. Upon trying to use our new stove I discovered that it is an induction stove and only special pots/ pans can be used to cook on top of it because it will not even turn on other wise. I had bought the very large sauté pan (13in) previously and my husband hates it bc it’s just so big and we never used it at our old home. Anywho, when we moved in funny thing was it was the ONLY pan that would work on our new stove! Ha! So I decided to just buy a set of the same one because the sturdiness, quality and look of the one I already had was amazing. Make sure to handle with care and no high cooking temps so you don’t ruin your beautiful new pots/pans. Packaging is as perfect and the quality is just superb. Buy it!

So far, so good. Unlike other reviews, I haven't had any discoloration or burns. The pots and pans look great after several uses (I only eat at home). They are super easy to clean, even cooking with sticky things like cheese. They seem to heat evenly, I have an induction range. I have only hand washed and dried these, I don't think I'll ever put them in the dishwasher to save the enamel. One note: there is some small assembly required, but it is super quick and easy. For the price, these were a major steal. And for how well they work and how beautiful they are, I'd given a set as a wedding gift, they're that nice

Excellent Quality

I was so excited to receive my new cookware set. After unpackaging all the pieces, I noticed the lid did not fit properly on the 4.3 qt saucepan and upon further inspection, the pan itself is obviously warped. This was the pan I was most looking forward to receiving as I have never had one this size. After reading many reviews with the word "warped" in them, I decided I didn't want to keep this set and I have returned. I also reached out to Carote and attached pictures but I never heard back from them. At this point I don't know if the pan was damaged in transit or came warped from Carote's factory, but I guess it does not matter. I do not recommend. ***UPDATE***: I saw this new set of Carote cookware and decided to give it a try. Here is my review of this 12-piece set that is brand new to Amazon as of 6/28/2024: This is an absolutely beautiful set of cookware. It’s almost too beautiful to use! I especially love the ridges on the sides of each piece. It adds an extra layer of sophistication to the set. I keep the 4.5-quart casserole out on my stovetop because it really is lovely to look at. I like that the set is stackable and appreciate the 3 pan protectors that were included. The knobs on the lids and the handles needed to be attached with the included screwdriver. Very easy to do and took about 5 minutes. I used the 4-quart low casserole for the first time last night and it cooked the food evenly, efficiently and completely non-stick. The clean-up was a breeze. It’s also lightweight, which I appreciate as I rarely use my cast iron pans because they are so heavy. I am looking forward to using the large 6-quart casserole for stew when the weather gets cooler. The largest casserole in the set is also very lightweight. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and so happy I ordered this set while it was on sale. Highly recommended! And please note that I am reviewing the 12-piece non-stick cookware set with the ridges on the sides.
