Weber 6788 Full Size Genesis 300 Series Griddle, Black

Perfect fit for our Genesis II grill. This griddle is exponentially better than those cheap Blackstones. Heavier gauge steel retains heat much better. No sign of rust after two seasons outside on an uncovered patio. Easy to clean. I love cooking on it!

Although the price of this seemed kinda steep it is a very nice griddle insert for my Weber Genesis II E-315 grill, so "Buy Once, Cry Once" applies. So far I have only used for smash burgers w/butter toasted buns and a group breakfast (eggs, sausages, pancakes) but it worked great. Lots of space for making multiple things at once so all food can be ready at same time. I was worried about food sticking but it wasn't a problem and I love that you can use stainless steel utensils without fear if scratching. Post cooking cleanup was easy. I doubt I'll ever go back to using regular grill grates again.

Well constructed Heavy duty. Heats fast and retains heat. Fits my Weber grill perfectly. It’s very heavy. Why 4 stars and not 5? Even though it says pre-seasoned, the instructions want you to follow a lengthy process to season the griddle.

Got this to replace the grill on our weber and it's been great! There is more steps to clean it, but it's been nice to cook more than just the typical burgers/hot dogs!

Can cook many items besides meat such as pancakes, pineapple, and other fruits and vegetables.
