Only beginner friendly
Itโs more beginner friendly than it is for seasoned Cajon players. While it is portable, beautifully colored, and on the less expensive side, there are better options out there. My main problem was that there wasnโt much of a difference between the snare (the top) and the bass (the lower middle). I wanted more of a bass sound so I ended up returning it.

Enjoyable, good sound and solid
My neice (6) wanted to learn how to play the drums. I grabbed this for her as the first introductiin into percussion instruments. She loves it, and is waiting on her drumset for Christmas now.
