I love that it is a charger and you cannot tell It’s a camera and I love that there is no subscription. The camera is supposedly high quality. It’s detects motion and also can record at all times if u set it that way. I give this a 10 out of 10 especially if you’re trying to save money!

Don't expect a 4K hollywood masterpiece from a pinhole cam but it does the trick for me. The only thing is that it blinks at night - Not visible light, and picks it up as motion so records a bunch of weird nothing videos but who cares? It is reliable which is all that I care about. Does not need a battery and connects right to the computer. Easy setup and does not have an app that you can waste time with. SD card recording - no fuss no muss simple dimple. Decent price too. It seems durable as well. I would recommend this. I have tried most of them on Amazon and this is the only one that worked for me.

I have no idea how this camera has good ratings on Amazon. This is the second unit I’ve ordered thinking the first was just a dud, but both had the exact same major flaws. First off, it comes with a 64GB MicroSD card, but because Windows doesn't natively format cards over 32GB to FAT32, you have to download special third-party utility software to format it. My computer's security program immediately blocked the download as sketchy and unsafe. Because of that, I had to manually format the card through Windows Command Prompt, which took a full hour to complete. After all that setup, I had to hard reset the camera three times just to get it to attempt to record. To make matters worse, it only records when plugged into a computer via USB. The second you plug it directly into a wall outlet—which is the whole point of a charger camera—it fails to record entirely. It is only supposed to record when plugged into a WALL outlet! Getting two defective units in a row proves this is a cheap, unreliable product with major internal power flaws. Don't waste your time or risk your computer's security that is expensive to purchase and a bunch of wasted time.

It’s easy to set up and a very clear picture and video

I have used the camera now for a week. I have only tried the 5 minute motion detection mode so far because of where I am using it. The camera detects motion pretty good. Sometimes it seems to have a delay starting because the person is already in the room when the recording starts. The camera will record for 5 minutes but there is a 5 minute delay before the next recording starts. I guess the camera has to save the last file. So you end up with gaps between the images. That is HUGE if you are trying to get everything recorded that is happening in the room. So for this the constant recording would be better but then you have to review 24 hours of recording to catch a 2 minute event. The other pain in the butt issue is where to place the camera. Placement is very limited because the camera has to be plugged into an outlet. That didn't work for me for where I wanted to place the camera. So I plugged a USB cord into the front of the camera and plugged it into a power strip on a table. The issue with this is the cable pulls the camera off to the side. This makes it hard to aim and any bump will move the camera. The same is true if you use a power pack but that makes it to where you can place the camera anywhere. But then it would look funny to have a USB power pack plugged into a USB charger just laying around. The "spy" part of the camera is nice because people don't except it compared to other block type cameras that are obvious. The other thing is the date/time feature is useless because you can't change it. Mine is stuck on 07/04/2017. The time seems to start at 00:00 and advances from the first capture. I went into the file and put in the current date/time but when I review the captures it will be back to the date/time mentioned. I assume the camera resets every time you unplug it.

I have seen other versions of these types of cameras. This one caught my eye as it looks to be a better version and more of a premium product compared to other brands. Easy access to the SD card on the back doesn't have to take it apart to get to the SD card and the two different modes. You don't need to have it plugged into an outlet for power, you can use a power bank this is how I have been using it. I think this is a great option as some times there's not a power source around. It doesn't seem to take much power either. I have my 280000 power bank and its been keeping it going for days, then I change. No lights or anything for that matter can't tell there's a camera inside. The instructions and easy QR code make it easy to get going. I have a 32GB card inside it's best to make sure its a good quality 10 class card. Only supports 32GB otherwise it will not work. Motion detection is where this camera shines I have it in a shed by my place if I notice anything has moved or stolen I will check this camera I have it hidden so no one can see, have tested the motion detection each time I pop in the frame it will turn on for a few minutes then once gone it stops. Perfect for when it won't be on much. It isn't a wifi camera and where I need this camera doesn't have wifi so I'm fine with that it's perfect for the task I need it for. I have uploaded the videos to my laptop picture quality was good no lag it's everything I expected and envisioned it. Great handy camera!

Make sure you set date and time on the memory card before u use.. I still Havnt figured out how to set the time as the directions are very poorly made... It took trial and error but I swear by the device. The camera is good quality.. Not for night vision though. The motion sensor works great so that you don't fill your memory card quickly... I love that you can't see the mini camera unless u know what you're looking for.. It also comes with a bunch of discrete stickers that cover up the motion sensor button and SD card so noone will know its even there.. I bought a second one! I wish I could view it from my phone though... Also make sure you download VPN viewer I believe it's called so u can view your videos with ease... YouTube the camera and it tells you what software to download.

I researched the best hidden cameras on youtube, this charger camera is rated #1 out of 10!!! Along with the fantastic reviews on Amazon I decided to take a leap into the spy world. I'm very impressed with the product, the picture quality and how easy it is to set up. If you have an questions on set up there is this easy to follow YouTube tutorial that will make you feel confident with the use of your camera. The only thing I suggest is to plug it in right way up this way your camera records the videos properly.

I got this product after looking everywhere and reading the other reviews. I also bought a 258GB Micro SD card separately since I know it's not included. The package delivered contains: - The spy camera which also doubles as a charger - An iphone to usb connector cord - A usb to usb c connector - A usb to usb connector - The factory reset pin - A USB type SD card reader - 10 Stickers to cover up the sd card opening (I think the opening is already hidden for my case) - Manual and lovely note from the company owner The best part is the customer service. At first, the recorded videos were not playing, or sometimes playing just for few seconds with flickers and green screen and I was getting error messages. Then, I decided to email the customer service unit with screenshots. I was amazed at how fast they responded and exact they were in what I needed to do. All I needed to do was format my separately purchased SD card using FAT32 for windows and just like magic, their detailed instructions (with screenshots) worked!! The recorded videos are now very clear, smooth and no longer corrupt. Also, all the accessories work! I highly recommend their product and their service!!!

The setup was simple and quick. Motion detection is a quick response, and records in three 5 minute clips at a time (when motion activated). The camera quality is decent, but the picture isn't 1080p or 720p, and it is 4:3 aspect ratio. In a good lighting setting, it isn't an issue. Would recommend to anyone as the product does work, and videos work good. When transferring videos, you must use USB 2.0 only, not USB 3.0 as the computer won't recognize anything plugged in. A 5 minute clip recording is about 850mb in size so you will need a 128GB or 256GB micro SD card in order to store more videos.
