The Aveda Be Curly Advanced Curl Enhancer is amazing for bringing out natural curls. It adds great definition and shine without making hair stiff or sticky. My curls stay soft, bouncy, and frizz-free all day, even in humidity. The light, fresh scent is a bonus, and a little goes a long way. Definitely worth it for anyone wanting healthy, natural-looking curls!

If you don't know anything about this product then you should read: apply to damp hair, distribute well, then gently shape your waves or curls with your hands. Let it dry. The product shrinks onto each strand of hair, to tighten your natural wave pattern. Smells like Heaven.

I really like this Aveda product. I’ve always gotten perms so I’d have some control over my hair, but I haven’t had one in almost three years because it’s just too many chemicals on my old hair. As a result my hair is flat, frizzy, and curly all at the same time. I was at a loss as to what I could do to have some control over how it looks. My daughter suggested that I try a curl cream (she has beautiful, perfect, uniform curls), so I tried this cream. I applied a very small amount to my slightly damp shoulder-length hair. I dried it with a diffuser, using warm and cool air settings. I probably used less than a dime-sized amount, mostly applying it to the top and ends. I was so surprised at how soft and wavy my hair is. I mixed the cream with a little water, and that was all it needed. It has been three days since I washed my hair, and it still looks good! I spritz it with a little water in the morning and that’s all it needs. My hair is not flat, stiff, or sticky. I’m very pleased with this product! By the way, a lot of people mention the scent. It is very light and disappears almost immediately, at least on my hair. I hate strong smells, especially coconut, which drives me crazy, but this curl cream hasn’t bothered me at all. I will definitely buy it again!

The cream does work good and defines my curls much better than Cantu or shae moisture ever did however it dries out my scalp and gives me dandruff. Also it’s insanely expensive for what you get.

This was one of about 5 curl creams I tested to see which one worked best for my particular hair. I have fine, somewhat thin hair that is very fragile, so I didn't want a curl cream with any kind of sodium in it such as in the various beach waves creams. I was looking for something to put on my wet hair after washing, and then scrunch my hair with my hands to encourage and control the mild waves I have. With any of these creams, the trick is to not use too much or you will end up with stiff hair. Of all that I tested, this was my second favorite and it worked pretty well. My favorite was one made by AG. It's nice that so many of the companies make small sample size tubes of 2 or 3 ounces each so you can try things for a reasonable price. It's kind of hard to choose the right cream if you have my type of hair because most of the creams seem primarily designed for those with fairly curly hair. The Aveda Be Curly is fairly thin and the scent is mild but nice.

A pricey product but very worth it! It doesn't leave me a lot of build up and keeps my curls very soft and looking healthy.

Love this. I still use with an oil and gel but allows my hair to coil. Best hair cream.

This is simply the best curl definer and refresher there is. I have thick, wavy hair that tends to be dry and I have tried a dozen products but nothing comes close to this. It does not take much to work, just a small dab.

This is the best. Massage it in to damp hair and scrunch dry. Brilliant curls that last all day. My hair is very wavy and curly in places but this gives it lovely even curls all over. Wouldn’t work on straight hair or long hair all the same length. Best on layered styles. Worth every penning in my opinion. 😊
