Some Missing Shielding
Generally functional. But there is shielding missing right at the plugs, so hum and are possible in small-signal applications.

While the product functions well it does not look like the image displayed
While the product functions well it does not look like the image displayed. I am specifically talking about the little notch on the 1/8 inch side of the cable. I purchased this knowing that I'd need that extra mm of length on the jack to fit my beats headphones and I was disappointed when it didn't as I can't use this cable on my beats. However, I have tested the cable on other products and it works well.

Defective
I often buy Hosa cables and don't usually have problems with them. Bought two of these, but one is not wired properly. The tip of the 3.5mm Jack is not connected, so the entire cable is useless. (Tested with multimeter). Of course the Amazon return window has closed and the price has now more than doubled since I bought the cables.
