Purchased an icemaker a year ago with auto cleaning. I am a ice chewer. I noticed the water was not flowing normally. For the life of me I never activated the cleaning feature. That's another story. Lol. I would manually clean it of course. Thank goodness, I was able to locate the manual on Amazon and ran the cleaning system using vinegar to no avail. I found this product, trusted the reviews and it worked. I allowed the full tank of solution to pass through the system, only because I had not thoroughly cleaned the icemaker in a year. Noticing the reviews mentioned the product leaves a residue, I decided to also run a full tank of vinegar water through the system as well to ensure the residue was gone once I no longer smelled vingar. I'm as happy as I can be, ice is falling down now, I can hear it from my kitchen. I highly recommend this product and just to mention. I also descaled my coffee maker. I couldn't be happier. Update 2/23/26 Fairwell my dear friend. My icemaker died. My suggestion follow instructions and Cleaning regularly. I just ordered a new icemaker. It had nothing to do with the cleaning tablets. They work.

I have an Opal ice maker that I got for Christmas a few years ago, and I am completely addicted to nugget ice. Unfortunately, my beloved ice machine has developed a very serious relationship with calcium buildup. 😂 I clean it regularly, but somehow I would still end up with those annoying white flakes floating around in the water reservoir. After becoming frustrated enough to consider giving the entire ice maker a strongly worded lecture, I bought these cleaning tablets. I am honestly shocked at how well they work. They're easy to use, the directions are simple to follow, and they don't have that horrendous chemical smell that makes you question whether you're cleaning the appliance or fumigating your kitchen. The ice maker comes out noticeably cleaner, the ice tastes better afterward, and I've definitely noticed fewer of those annoying white flakes. For the price, these are a fantastic value. If you have a countertop ice maker, especially one that makes nugget ice, I would absolutely recommend keeping these on hand. I think they'd be compatible for all countertop ice makers. They're also pretty durable and make the cleaning cycle run more smoothly. It removes a ton of calcium and staining. My ice maker is clean, my ice tastes better, and I no longer have to inspect every piece of ice like I'm looking for evidence at a crime scene.

These work really well at cleaning my little ice machine. We have well water and these do the job getting rid of the build up stains. Will buy again.

This is kinda hard to review. I’m sure it works, but the most important parts of the machine you can’t see. Anyway, will buy again

Works great on cleaning ice machine

When you have a counter top ice machine you need to clean it about once a week, depending on how often you use it. These cleaner tablets are the easiest way to make sure you get everything really clean. You just have to dissolve the tablet, add it to the water and run a couple of turns of ice. It doesn't take long at all. I find I still have to give the corners an extra swipe to finish up, but I use my machine every day. It is the best solution I have found.
