My son got this for his bedroom. He strung it where the wall meets the ceiling. It gets plenty bright enough to put the whole room into a mood and not have to use his overhead lighting. The reason I marked it down by a star is there weren’t enough mounting points supplied with the lights. We ended up having to buy mounting tape to stop it from falling down every few hours.

1st off these are DEFINITELY NOT outdoor lights! Anyone who bought them for that shouldve know better than to trust the advertising! So im not rating them on that as it was obvious! Now... that being said; ive only had mine for 2 days. So this is an early review! Usually i wait a week to a month to review things but this was worth the day 2 review! The led rope itself is actually fsntastic for indoor use! Build is good quakity engineering for a room or designing a cool shape or what have you! The problem is actually the mounting devices they give you! The dont give enough actual grip to the rope so the slide out of the mounts making it a constant chore to put them back in place as they WILL fall out of the mounts! THIS IS INFURIATING! For an this price point they could have provided a better nounting bracket for elevated instillation! Its annoying enough that i dead serious took 2 stars of off what would otherwise be a 5 star product! It would be equivalent to selling a top tier electronic device with an internal rechargeable battery but giving you a cable that takes 72 hours to charge it!

The installation clips included in the box made the setup straightforward, and the cord length gave me more than enough reach to plug them in without having to rearrange anything. If you want a simple way to bring a little atmosphere into a room — whether it’s a bedroom, living area, or studio space — these rope lights are absolutely worth it. I’m already thinking about getting another set for my hallway.
