Batteries are kind of a binary reviews right? It either works or it doesn't. This one works. It lasts longer than the original that came with the DS.

After digging out my old DS and finding the battery no longer held a charge, I ordered this. A straight forward swap and holds a charge well.

Got my Ds lite working again, money well spent

Bought my DS Lite back to life. It had been struggling to keep charge for long and now it is how it used to be.

Works well, fits perfectly, and provides enough power to get me through long gaming sessions. Only wish the included repair tool kit was more comprehensive, but overall it's a good value for the price.

Perfect fit, props to Nintendo for making the DS live on in 2026.

The battery was easy to fit with the provided tools. It seems good quality and functions as expected with a much better battery life than the original. Great value for money to revive an old DS for the modern world!

After nearly twenty years my DS battery was absolutely shot. This was my hope at reviving it so I could play nintendogs again. I’m fully aware of how unhinged that is. Doesn’t matter. This came with the screw driver to uninstall the old battery and install the new one that fit and works perfectly with great battery life. My nintendogs were, miraculously, still alive albeit dirty and starving. 10/10 would recommend.

Der DS Lite Akku (USG-003, 2500mAh Li-Ion) ist ein perfekter Ersatz für einen in die Jahre gekommenen Originalakku. Der Einbau ist unkompliziert und in wenigen Minuten erledigt danach läuft der Nintendo DS Lite wieder wie am ersten Tag. Die Akkulaufzeit hat mich positiv überrascht. Selbst nach längeren Spielsessions hält der Akku zuverlässig durch und steht dem Original in nichts nach, teilweise wirkt die Laufzeit sogar besser. Auch das Laden funktioniert problemlos, ohne Überhitzung oder Auffälligkeiten. Die Verarbeitung macht einen soliden Eindruck, der Akku sitzt fest im Gerät und wird korrekt erkannt. Gerade für ältere Handhelds ist so ein Austausch eine einfache und effektive Möglichkeit, die Konsole wieder voll alltagstauglich zu machen. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Produkt mit starkem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Klare 5 Sterne und eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die ihrem DS Lite neues Leben einhauchen wollen.
