I had moles undermining my brick patio. These spikes chased them away. The first time I turned them on and left them for two weeks. The moles came back. Then I left them in for considerably longer and so far so good.

I purchased 2 of the 4 packs to cover my 1 1/2 acre lot under the impression that it would help to deter snakes as well as moles. However, it does NOT work for snakes, found a large black snack laying right next to one of the sonic senca's and yes it was working and you could hear the hum from it..as for working on the moles, I haven't seen any new evidence that they are still around so only time will tell on that one.

These worked perfectly, other than the one that stopped working. We had tunnels everywhere in our backyard grass and garden. We collapsed all the tunnels and put these in about 25 feet apart. Since then, not one tunnel has been created other than when one stopped working. We moved a working one into that stop and once again, the critter left. They do make a bit of a buzzing sound when transmitting, but you get used to it. We have kids and pets so we needed a safe option for critter removal.

I bought four and installed three. Of the three installed one wont work at all and two wont hold a charge anymore. I have had them for 17 months. I would expect a better performance than this. They worked to keep gophers away... but they DO NOT LAST.

These do nothing! In fact, I think the gopher likes them: he's dug exit holes right next to them and made a huge tunnel system just below the surface all around the spikes. Doesn't both birds or squirrels either. In fact, some animal pooped within 2" of a spike - talk about disappointing! Buy a real trap like the Sweeney's or Victor Easy. I bought a set of each here on Amazon and both have worked. These spikes are easy to install and use, but there's no point and even that is wasted effort. The other traps are finicky, a little tricky to set, you need to tear up a bit of earth to get to the tunnel, and then carefully cover-up so the gopher can't see light, but when done right they both killed a gopher on the first night.

I had a area of chipmunk holes and tunnels in my backyard. I put one spike into the ground in the center of the holes about 3 weeks ago. I have seen no evidence that the holes are being used anymore as grass clippings, etc have accumulated in the holes. The spike is all the way into the ground as far as it can go and I can mow over it with no problems. I can still hear it working. I only gave it 4 stars for value as I had to buy a four-pack. I have three unused spikes.

This product is easy to install and works well.

They vibrated but either the critters making track are not voles or these voles like the vibration sound. Have been in place for several months with no desired effect.
