Thank you for the inquiry. The Mini 4 Pro is not waterproof/water resistant so please refrain from using the drone while raining. Also, please fly with caution if you are flying near the water. Is RC2 SCREEN Remote Really Worth it or is Phone Screen Control Good Enough? Same coverage?

How far can it go from me? (Max distance to go)

The advertised range is only marketing and you won't get anywhere close in most real world conditions.  People are reporting about max 0.3km in city environments when there is terrain/trees/structures, and about 1km in open sky without obstacles.  Maybe you will get more distance in an open farm field out in the middle of nowhere.

Yes, Mini 4 Pro supports FAA RID requirement with the factory firmware version, while it takes time to have this update the FAA Official Website due to the changes in the format of the materials required by the FAA to apply for RID compliance. DJI is actively communicating with the FAA in a timely manner, and it is expected that AIR 3 will be announced on the FAA website soon.
