Distiller Cleaner Descaler, 2 LB Citric Acid Cleaning Powder for Distilling Machines & Kettles - Removes Limescale & Mineral Buildup

This cleaner works really well for maintaining my water distiller. It does a great job removing limescale and mineral buildup, and I like that it uses biodegradable, food-safe ingredients instead of harsh chemicals. The powder formula is convenient since there’s nothing to mix or dissolve. Just pour it in, boil, and rinse. For heavier buildup, I sometimes need to repeat the process to get the distiller completely clean, but overall it works well and makes regular maintenance much easier.

This works very good. I put two tablespoons in my distiller along with hot tap water and in a couple of hours it is sparkling clean. No scrubbing.

Works very well for my distiller used to create water for my cpap. I have low minerals in the water so helps make the clean up easy.

I use this in my water distiller and it works so well that I gave my neighbor some and she loves it too. When I'm done making my water for my CPAP the pot is totally covered in hard white calcium, but after adding just one scoop and heating the water up it looks brand new every time. I've even used it to clean out coffee cups and coffee maker

Purchased this to clean my water distiller. It’s fast and effective. A little can go a long ways. It would also work great to clean glass coffee pots.

This item arrived on time and in good condition. We have a still to make distilled water for our humidifier. After several uses, it gets so much calcium built up on the sides and bottom that it becomes inefficient. The manufacturer recommended running the device with this product in the solution to clean the still. It works like a champ. Running the still for about one hour with four tablespoons of this in a filled still, will clean it back to sparkling stainless steel. We have also found that you can use this in pans that have backed on substances. Just put some water in the pan and some of this and heat the water to boiling. Let it boil for a while and most of the stuff attached to the sides of your pan will dissolve. The rest you can clean with a plastic mesh covered sponge. I am sure glad we found this stuff.

Using it to clean a distilled water tank. Does the job much better than the sample that came with the distiller (different brand). Left the tank pristine. Would definitely buy again.
