Nie ohne in die Dales
Einer der besten Wanderführer für die Dales. Kenne ich schon über den Lake District und für Snowdonia. Alle Beschreibungen zuverlässig und übersichtlich, inklusive passender Kartenausschnitte aus den OS Maps.

Brilliant book (and series in general), would recommend
Fantastic, love these books. I've already got others. The paper quality feels better for this newer version and they've made a couple of minor tweaks for the better. I normally use in conjunction with the OS Maps app on my phone so can't comment on the accuracy of all the text instructions but have followed the wording previously and found them accurate enough. Great for novice and experienced walkers. The short walks are a little short for me personally but I've completed all the medium and long walks. Wish there were more walks, which is a good sign and high praise.

Great little book full of excellent walks
This book is fantastic if you don't like spending too much time planning routes, you can pick any of the walks from this book and know you're in for a lovely walk. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into each of these routes. The routes are easy enough to follow, the maps alone are easy to follow and the accompanying description is clear and concise. The most recent walk I did was the Gunnerside one, and there was no phone signal at all so I would have struggled to navigate using the online tools I usually use (i.e. google maps). Rounded edges on the corners are a nice touch too which helps with this books longevity when stuffed into a rucksack filled with walking stuff.

Great guide books.
I'm not normally a fan of guide books, as the landscape can change so much, but I do love these guides. There are some super walks in them. I've a good collection now. So far they've been accurate as to turns etc. I've come across an odd discrepancy where someone has cut a hedge down or similar, but a bit of common sense will keep you on the right track. Car parking info has been ok too. As someone who's walked for decades I still carry a map though, just in case.
