Knife is great there not one problem with this knife. When I unpacked it months ago first thing I noticed was attention to every detail of the knife packaging; to belt clips for left or right hand carry. The grip of the handle, the little allen key that came with it to take you knife apart for cleaning, the sharpness of the blade itself, and the control you have with it is out of this world. I have bought karambit before (cheap ones) and the control was horrible. But this one lethal control and precision. I have been stalking this since I was 17 and I am 27 now. And I got to say Awesome knife worth the price I got it on payment plan with Affirm. And the all blacked out look is amazing too.

Best knife I have ever owned. Incredibly sharp. Highly recommend a trainer for this knife prior to use.

It's an amazingly well made knife. I may need to loosen it just a hair, but overall, it's a very nice knife for what it's meant for. I literally stabbed into the side of my ring finger on the second time i opened the knife. I was opening it in front of my friends at my birthday party, and i thought it would be cool to rip it out of my pocket with the emerson wave, but i had such horrific form, that it only opened half way due to my whole hand gripping the knife terribly, instead of just pulling from the ring. The knife only opened half way, and proceeded to get lodged in my finger, and probably nicked a nerve because now my finger is tingly even a day after. This thing is freaking sharp. I don't blame the knife though one bit. Complete user-error, and i will now be watching some tutorials, and mastering the opening process Haha. It's definitely not a knife you should be opening in a work/public setting. People won't really trust you especially if you're using the emerson wave, and gripping it like a combat knife. Although you could probably get away with it if you just use the flicker to flick it open instead. It just looks super evil. It's probably the best self defense knife there is especially for the price. Very well made. Made in italy. Disgustingly sharp. Although the one con i can think of is i have no idea how i'm going to sharpen it due to the concave curve of the blade. I'll make it work though. May have to buy some sharpening stone rods.

have never used fox knives before but this one is a great pocket knife

I own a few karambits as well as a few fox knives. The G10 is one sleek blade and is an extremely good one. The mechanical operation is pretty flawless. It deploys easy and fast with the Emerson wave hook. Those not familiar with this device. It's a small hook that grabs the inside of the pock as it is pulled out. This opens the blade, but skill is equally important. The technique used is dangerous and can cut the user if done improperly or carelessly. Fox knives are an Italian made brand and are ferociously sharp. The price point is very nice and big bang for the buck here. Im very happy with the performance and quality of the G10.

The Pros: Well made, solid construction, well designed to fit the hand in either of the two main grips you would use. Very sharp. Very high build quality. Exactly what you would want in this style of knife at this price point, except... The Cons: The opening mechanism is very, very tight. Even loosening the tension screw and lubricating the knife's opening mechanism didn't do much to help with this (although it did add blade play, so I tightened it back down). Because of this the flipper doesn't work well and you have to use the Emerson Wave to open it - this hook catches on your pocket and pulls it open. However, because the opening action is so tight, you have to pull it out of your pocket with surprising force, and there are two problems with this. 1.) Pulling the knife out this forcefully will make you look like a weirdo at work and 2.) If you don't pull out the knife pretty aggressively, it can kind of half open, and then you cut yourself, which I did. As I accidentally found out, it is a very able weapon that can inflict very bloody cuts with surprisingly little force. SO, to sum up, I have to give this knife a B. I would love to give it an A, but the difficulty of opening it makes it annoying as a tool and possibly unreliable as a self defense weapon - if you try to open this thing by pulling it out of your pocket and it opens 1/2 or 2/3 of the way and you cut your hand sliding your hand down to grip the knife, you are going to be embarrassed AND dead. And if you miss the edge of your pocket in a high stress situation, I hope you have two hands free and some time to open it, because the flipper action is too tight to be usable for easy one handed opening. You can use the flipper if you accompany the motion with a sharp snap of your wrist, but at this price point you really should not have to. I think that bearing races instead of (I presume) cheaper washers is a no brainer. I've never seen a knife in this price point that is anywhere even approaching this difficult to open (or difficult to open at all, actually), and that is a shame, because it is otherwise basically perfect.
