Great for Concrete and Pavers in the PNW Rains
I recently used MasonryDefender Concrete Sealer on our concrete pavers and patio, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. Living in the Pacific Northwest, where rain is a constant, our patio and driveway were constantly getting soaked and stained. After applying this Silane Siloxane-based sealer, the difference has been remarkable. Water Repellency & Protection: The sealer is incredibly effective at creating a deep, penetrating barrier that prevents water from soaking into the concrete. After application, I noticed that water now beads up and rolls off the surface, even with the heavy, consistent rains we get here. It's like our patio has a protective shield against moisture, which not only keeps the surface dry but also prevents potential damage from water infiltration, such as cracks and discoloration. Easy to Apply & Long-Lasting: Applying the sealer was straightforward, and the 2.5-gallon size was more than enough to cover our entire patio and driveway. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky residue or odd finish—just a smooth, invisible protection that doesn’t alter the appearance of the concrete. I’m confident it will provide long-lasting protection for our surfaces, especially during the wet months when they are most vulnerable. Great for Concrete Pavers: We also have concrete pavers in our backyard, and this sealer has been fantastic for them as well. The pavers no longer absorb water, which means no more staining or deterioration from rainwater. Overall: I’m thoroughly pleased with the MasonryDefender Concrete Sealer and would highly recommend it to anyone in the Pacific Northwest (or anywhere with a lot of rain) who wants to protect their concrete and pavers. It’s an excellent investment to keep your outdoor spaces looking great and standing up to the elements year-round!

Impressive results that last
I am going on the third year after treatment of my driveway and I am very pleased to report the protection is still there and has made a remarkable difference. I have a long fibre-crete driveway in SC. The summers are long and hot and there is intermittent rain. The finish job on my concrete was never pretty to begin with so the surface is rougher than I would have liked which leads to shading and surface inconsistencies, pockets for water to collect which leads to mold growth and dirt collection. Not great. I decided to seal a bunch of test areas on the driveway to see if that would help. I applied 5 gallons of this product 2 summers ago. I stuck to doing entire driveway squares so it wouldn't look ridiculous. Now going on my 3rd year you can still see the marked difference in the way that the treated squares of concrete repel dirt and mold due to accumulating water. The photos I included show the difference between treated and untreated areas. Keep in mind my concrete has always looked very shaded due to the way it was finished in the first place so don't judge the results by this ugly shading -that's just part of my concrete. This product didn't cause any additional shading. If anything, it lessened the visual impact of the original shading in the concrete. For sure every square that I have treated is much whiter and cleaner looking than the untreated squares. More like what it looked like immediately following the power washing that I did prior to application 2 years ago. I will treat the remaining squares this year and then reseal the original test squares. Great product.

Seems to work well so far
Seems to work really well. I used a $15 1-gallon weed sprayer to apply it to my shed slab. Now water beads up and runs off, so the slab is well protected. It recommends re-applying (I think) once a year. That’s cheap insurance to maximize the life of your concrete with the ridiculous prices they charge for concrete these days (way over priced, like everything is now).

Reviews are true
I read through most of the reviews, good and bad, and both sides are correct. I used the product on my concrete patio that has previously been powerwashed. The product does repel rain and water very well, I‘m happy with the outcome and will probably repeat the process once a year. It was easy to apply and only took me 10 minutes. The bad news is that I did get some staining due to overapplication in some areas that I sprayed twice. But that was my mistake. The staining looks like it is wet, it‘s not ugly or oily stains. I will buy it again

Best cement water proofer I've ever purchased x 10.
I've tried most every cement water proofer on the market. I googled best cement sealer and the ingredients of Silane Siloxane came up as being the best and longest lasting. I started with my resurfaced garage floor and I couldn't believe how good it sealed and beaded water. I liked it so much I did my whole driveway. No odor, easy spray or roller, totally clear, dries quickly and not shiny. Water just beads up and rolls away or evaporates. Cleans up with just water and no scrubbing. This sealer is amazing and I so glad I used it.

Long lasting coating.
Purchased for my new concrete driveway, used a sprayer to apply, you can use a roller to is you wish. Went on easy and 2 years later the rain still runs off.

Blotchy appearance
18-year old concrete driveway in great shape. Cleaned according to specifications. The cleaned driveway looked great! Took off the rust and then used the cleaner. Tried 3 different application methods - (1) backpack sprayer only, (2) backpack sprayer and back brushing, and (3) a 3/4 nap paint roller. Nothing I tried changed the bad results. It does appear to repel water as I can see it bead up nicely. But it just looks horrible. My technique was very even with no pooling. The surface could best be described as blotchy. I’ll update this review with photos when it stops raining here. I think it might work fine on a perfectly new driveway. Beware if your concrete has some years on it.

Vraiment excellent!!
Le béton de mon vieux balcon (30ans) absorbait l'eau tel un papier essuie-tout. Regarder sur la photo!! L'eau perle sur le béton... Vraiment trop bon.
