They make a good seal for the supply portion of the Berkey. The rubber plugs that came with it were deteriorating and left residue in water.

Fits perfectly for our Berkey falter filter system. It was pretty easy to install, just make sure you place the screw part straight on the bolt, otherwise you can not tighten it. No leakage detected, and I guess the value for the money is okay, I think they were pretty pricy for 2 little plastic stoppers.
