Wow, for such a small fan - It can push a lot of air. Pro - It is quite - with the Plastic housing - doesn't weight much. - Heavy duty cord compared to most fans Con - It could be the plastic housing (I don't think so) It is really nice fan for your needs

I have two of these 11 inch fans, one at work and one at home. The one at home runs about 12 hours every day, for years on end. They're quiet and push a solid column of air a long distance. They are the best fans I've ever owned.

It has an ugly large warning sticker on the cord about some electrical hazard. That aside, this is a great fan but you may need an extension cord. The six foot cord enters the fan on one end (side?) and a foot off the ground so some cord is wasted. The shorty cord is prone to draping above the ground from both ends, the outlet and the fan, creating a trip hazard so your fan placement is limited. I have the FC300 fan also. Its longer cord is safer and tres convenient. I think the manufacturer may be focused on electrical hazards instead of physical hazards because electricity is wizardry. I then handed-down the longer cord from my larger fan to this one and all is well. These fans' switches go from Off to Low unlike other household fans whose switches go from Off to High. Does that mean they have a quality that gives them the torque to rotate from a standstill?

I added a point to my initial review. This is a great fan...the best fan. You can tell they thought everything out. The only minor issue I have with it is that the cable is short. After thinking about it, I believe they made it short to avoid people tripping over it. This makes sense. That being said, the warning say don't use extension chords. I believe that it would have been helpful if they added their own compatbile extension chord..at least give the option. Otherise, this is probably the best fan on the market. I would definitey buy another one and highly recommend it.

Glad that someone still knows how to make a good fan! You got a ventilation problem, you're looking at a plausible solution here. I'm leaving a review after owning so many fans that were so disappointing. If you're thinking "maybe I just need to pay for quality and get something more contractor-grade" then yes, that's totally the current situation, & these models work very well. Only better deal is maybe the Catr Pllr big drum types (third party not so good) and those really roar and push the furniture around. These ones (especially the little yellow fan) are much quieter, they can live in two worlds.

I bought this to help with keeping my home cool. This year has been extremely hot, humid and smokey in Montana.....yes, I said humid. Montana is usually not humid, but with the extreme wildfire smoke, weather has been strange, so absolutely needed relief and this brought it. Well made, durable, a little loud on the highest fan setting, can move it into many different positions to help circulate in whatever way. I have ran it non-stop for weeks now and with the low wattage use, my power bill has not gone up. Recommend it!

Owning (& loving) a Vornado 293 for several years, I couldn’t pass on the lower price point XPower FC-100 because of the obvious similarities. The FC- 100 boasts an 11” blade vs the 293 @ 10”. The noticeable difference is the 293 has 3 large angled blades where as the FC-100 has 5 smaller blades. The features the FC-100 has that are unique to itself are the timer & 4 speed settings vs 3 on the 293. I’ve personally never thought “Gee, I wish the fan had a timer”. As for the 2 lower settings on the FC-100, they’re pointless. About the affect of a small personal desk fan. The 3rd speed is slightly less than the medium setting on the 293. The FC-100 4th or high setting is close to the high setting on the 23 but is much MUCH louder. The claims of CFM & RPM aren’t as relevant as the amount of air moved. Although the CF-100 claims 120ft vs the 293’s 100ft, the Vornado seems stronger & cools a room faster. Another factor is the Vornado’s power cord is conveniently longer. They Both appear to come apart easily for cleaning. Maybe this is an apples to oranges comparison because XPower makes the FC-200 @ $5 more than the 293. However, if noise factor & overall build quality is important the Vornado 293 is a far superior fan. To. Be honest, if I’d been out & about shopping & saw the XCPower on display I probably wouldn’t have bought it.

Easy to clean and very durable. Puts out air as good as a shop fan just not as big as one.

This is a powerhouse house, had to vent our cottage and used it to circulate air, did a great job. We ran it day and night for a week and no issues

'Merican made, with lots of power & sturdiness! Handle is very well designed. Super quiet one level 1. Generates lots of air movement on level 4. Great feature being able to aim directly down or up for complete air circulation options. Trying to buy 1 or two more, but you are out of stock.

Fantastic product. Excellent build quality. Super quiet. Powerful and useful. Way more useful than a table fan since this will actually move air around the room, while being very quiet.

Used it to move the cold air around my home works amazing also good for drying the couch

Brilliant fan only wish they did a 24" version. Sturdy and quite. I'd but another one of needed.
