Looneng Water Activated Gummed Kraft Paper Tape - 48mm Width x 54.7 yd Length - Stretching Paper, Tamper Evident

I purchased this for stretching watercolor paper. I used a damp square sponge set on a table top and gently pulled the tape across it. I applied it to the damp paper and a wiped off, primed wood board. I put two staples (or thumbtacks) on each side, but I didn’t end up needing the staples or tacks after all because the tape held beautifully! It’s smaller than I anticipated, but a great value. Will buy again!

I like how well it sticks if you fully wet it. It's very secure. My only complaint is that it takes a while to dry.

This is just ok paper tape. First, it needs to be really wet. But I find that it does not stick well to some surfaces. I am using to seal framed pictures and often have to light;y sand the frame to get this to stick. It's really just ok, not great.

I was very pleased with the adhesiveness of this product. Tears easily by hand. Yet strong after wetting and drying again.

When I opened the tape it was immediately clear it has been wet - and with a significant amount of moisture. one entire side of the role was stuck together and could not be unrolled. The roll was warped and it should have been clear to anyone that it was no good. This is gum tape. You adhere it by wetting it, which means if it gets wet, it essentially becomes glued together and can't be used anymore. The ONLY reason I am not returning it is becuase for it was only $10 and it makes no sense to ship something, burning fuel, only for it to be thrown away. I'd rather just eat the money and save a little fuel and pollution.

Only used twice and still assessing why I am getting mixed results, assuming it is my technique.

Eventually discovered that I did not need it. Very expensive to purchase from overseas.

This is great tape for anything, crafts, packing and everything else you need tape for.

I used a different one before, easier to peel off when finishing the painting

you wet it, it sticks. Exactly what it is supposed to do.

Arrived soon. Easy to apply. Had some pieces lifted while drying. Reapplied. Heard noises while drying and the picture shows what it looks like.
