Perfect hitch lock
I loved how easy this was to use. I wanted to make sure the boat hitch wouldnโt get opened and this worked perfectly. Locked that hitch lever down and there isnโt any room for someone to use anything to open it, not enough gap. Fits tightly.

It's a Coupler Lock
This lock fits my trailer and works perfectly. As others have said, the key works as the handle in which you turn to move the lock open and closed. The key sticks a little, but I was never frustrated that I could not get the key in or out, and I was never concerned with the key breaking. This lock appears to be quality built. I use this lock to prevent casual theft of my trailer at the ATV park. If someone was truly motivated I believe this lock could be beat, but that is true for every lock ever built. I believe it would take more than whacking this lock once with a wrench to break it. If you are looking for a lock that will prevent someone from carelessly walking over, lifting up your trailer and attaching to their truck, this lock will do that. If you are looking for a coupler lock that will prevent a highly motivated individual, with time to work on it, from taking your trailer, then I would look for something above the $10 price range...

Works!
I had one of these for about a year. It saw all kinds of abuse and lived on the trailer in a garage. However, it still got all kinds of road salt, rain, mud, grease, etc all over it. I never once did any kind of maintenance on it and never saw an increase in difficulty to operate or remove. I finally had to cut it off because I needed to use my trailer, but had left my keys in another vehicle. It took a good 10 mins for an amateur like me to cut it off. It was also difficult to keep in one spot to saw one for fear of cutting off my other hand. I ended up using the corner of my boot to hold it so that I could keep cutting on the other side. I'm sure a professional thug in an inner city that wanted my $100 trailer could have it off in under 5 with a saw. Maybe just using a hammer and chisel? Anyways, its durable, it will deter crimes of opportunity and will definitely keep the neighborhood kids busy for multiple minutes. I've since replaced the one I cut off with a new one and so far so go.

Great fit for the tongue hitch
Fits well and easy to open. Originally I wanted this to be a single turn of key to open and then click back like a master lock. Only downside is the lock is screwed closed using the key. This can be a little tough if you put your key with a big bunch of others on a ring. All works well however and worth it

It does the job, just feels a little loose
This is the second one of these locks I have purchased for my trailer as when I sold my old boat, I gave the lock to the guy who bought it. It does the job, and looks secure. Pros: it fit's nicely on the hitch. I'm sure someone could saw it off if they were determined enough, but that can be said for all locks. What I like is it minimizes the spots where one would attack it as the bar is encased between the two halves. Deterrence is the game with locks and this one looks tougher than other locks. Cons: My complaint with the lock is that it is not a traditional lock where you "snap" it into place. It is actually a screw that connects the two halves together and closes the gap between the two, with the key acting as the screw driver. What I find is It either feels too loose sometimes or I'm scared I'm going to wrench it down so much that the key breaks inside the mechanism. Plus when you are hooking up your boat, one half tends to sometimes fall in the dirt while you are putting it on, which could lead to you losing it. It's not perfect, but it is the best design of the bunch that I could find

Improved over old lock design.
Improved over the former version. This lock screws together for a more secure lock. I have a Hensley Arrow hitch which I don't want to get stolen. I don't worry about the RV just the hitch. Between the hitch and this lock, a theif is going to spend a lot of time to steal it and will most likely look for easier pickin's. Why did I buy this if I had the old one? I lost my keys after several years. I had to hire a lock smith to pick the lock. It took him 5 minutes so these locks won't stop professionals.

Smart design
It looks like it would be harder to break than other designs, especially given the great price!
