EF ECOFLOW Stream 800W Micro inverter

I gave 3 stars earlier, but raised it to 5, the cable was included in the price, but they had run out of stock due to a hgh demand. it arrived a week later. The EcoFlow stream is very sturdy and high quality. Very easy to install and It worked straight away. Although you need to bind it to the battery system if you have one. There is a learning curve to using the app, however Google AI was useful at taking me through it. Using my home smart meter and the app, it was evvident that the system is very quick to react. Very impressed.

Feels very solid and seems to work as intended. The app makes setting up and monitoring the device easy and the WiFi is very good, able to pick up the main house WiFi despite being out on the garage! I have it booked up to a couple of 450w solar panels and it is performing well. Don't forget to get the mating mains cable as the connector provided is pretty unique. The App confirms the input from each panel so it has true mppt for both inputs.

Great product. Missing Cables! Overall, it’s a great product. Now reduces my electricity bill by a small amount every day. However, it didn’t initially come with the solar cables that should have been included. I had to threaten with Trading Standards to get what I had already paid for. What was once an amazing company is going downhill fast in terms of customer service

I went with the Ecoflow Stream because it was a branded device & I was new to solar panels, so I went with the safe option. It's easy to set up & you really cant make any mistakes with it. My only negative, is for no reason it stops emitting power. I have 2 of these, hooked up to 2 450w panels & on a good sunny day, 1 set produces around 500-600w of power. However, for no reason I can see, one decides to stop emitting power & the light is in red for a good 30 minutes or so & then it starts working again. And this is random, happens on both micro-inverters I have. It seems to be a common problem with these devices. So, all in all, they work very well. But I've given it a 4 star because of the random switching off for no reason. But this could be resolved with a firmware update later down the road if Ecoflow figure out why they do this. And I do recommend setting them up to your wifi so you can monitor the power being produced from anywhere, as the bluetooth signal really isn't that strong.

I ordered this to dip my toe into the world of solar panels, and it's safe to say I'm now hooked. The inverter comes with some mounting bolts for putting it on the wall, and connecting the panels to it is really easy. You can have two different strings of panels at different voltages without issue, which is what I'm doing. That way, if you've got some old panels and want to add new ones later on, you can do so without having to match the panels to the old ones. Output is clipped down to 800W, so you can add more panels if you want to get a higher average output. I'm aiming for 1150W of panels, to get the most out of it. Something to note - the new UK plug in solar legislation says the plug must be a moulded-on OEM one, and the cable supplied has bare conductors for a plug or hard-wired installation. As others have mentioned, the app is good, but the connection is lost when the inverter isn't making power. It can't sip from the grid to maintain the connection when the panels aren't generating power. At the time of review, the inverter is £122, which I found to be excellent value for the quality of the kit. The fact that you can change the connection cable and hook it up to an ECOFLOW battery unit is even better, as it adds to the functionality. Be aware that the cable comes as a separate package. Mine arrived a few hours before the inverter itself, which did worry me.

Went early with this and have been using for around 3 months now. It's not missed a beat, is reliable and works well (and provides a nice enhancement to electric power)

Great! Easy and effortless to set up and operate with user friendly app

I received the Micro Inverter, without the A/C cable. You cannot use it without the cable and the plug end is their proprietary design. I contacted EcoFlow and they said I would have to buy one. It is pictured on Amazon as included (on the left side of the inverter) feeling cheated I returned the item. They refunded me but with £16.36 deducted for the cable. The cable arrived a week after the inverter. I now discovered that it comes in two separate parcels. They did refund the £16.36. Their communication is appalling (mostly robotic) which caused me to return it but they get two stars for the cash refund.

Simple d'installation et très efficace. De plus l'application est très bien faite. Je recommande.

He comprado este Microinversor de EcoFlow y tras probarlo durante un tiempo me ha gustado su funcionamiento. Se trata de un Microinversor de 800 w de potencia, con un sistema muy fácil, ya que solo hay que conectarle dos paneles solares y con el enchufe que incluye lo conectas a cualquier enchufe de tu casa, empezando a inyectar la electricidad que produce. Es así de fácil, ya que el Microinversor incluye tanto el cable depara conectarlo como los cables para conectar los paneles, por lo que no tendrás que comprar nada más que los paneles, aunque también lo venden con ellos incluidas. En mi caso puse dos paneles de 505 w, ya que por la ubicación que tengo no dará el 100% de su potencia, siendo compatible con la mayoría de los paneles del mercado, que usen tomas MC4, que son las habituales. Respecto a la producción después de casi dos meses de uso ha sido formidable, el pico de uso ha llegado a los 790 W, variando según transcurre el día o si hay más nubes o menos. El Microinversor genera energía aunque no reciba el sol directo, son con la luz del día, eso si, bastante menos que cuando recibe el sol en la totalidad del panel, y necesita estar conectado a la luz, por lo que no lo podrás utilizar si hay un apagón, para eso necesitarías baterías, que yo no he instalado. Incluyen una aplicación gratuita de EcoFlow con la que conectaras mediate wifi el Microinversor a tu teléfono donde verás en tiempo real la producción que estás generando, con gráficos diarios, semanales, mensuales y anuales, muy fácil de utilizar y de entender, donde almacena todos los datos. En mi caso después de estos casi dos meses, ha tenida una producción de 133 KW/H en el mes de Agosto, que está genial, con días en el mes de Julio de 5,4 KW/H, por lo que estoy muy contento. Principalmente monte este sistema para amortizar un poco el consumo de la depuradora de la piscina que tengo y ha sido todo un acierto, ya que más de la mitad del consumo de está ahora me sale gratis, además de contribuir con el medio ambiente al ser energías que no contaminan, a mi me ha gustado, además de un servicio técnico que contesta bastante rápido ante cualquier consulta que les hagas, que para mi es bastante importante…..

Eccezionale, recensisco dopo 6 mesi, nel quale non ho avuto nessun problema, ne di funzionamento ne con la ricezione del segnale wifi lontano circa 8 metri. Installazione semplicissima, accessori compresi per ogni esigenza. Applicazione fantastica, controlla in tempo reale la produzione dei pannelli individualmente. Preso durante un piccolo abbassamento di prezzo e mai pentito dell'acquisto. Ci tenevo a dire che è sempre stato all'aperto sotto le intemperie invernali.
