Great for exterior security panels and speakers
Does exactly what it says, seals electronics from the elements. We used this on exterior speakers and security panels and it has solved our corrosion issues we’ve been experiencing on them.

It's messy
Price was high but works

It is a semi solid gel.
It works exactly as advertised. I was looking for something that works like a traditional potting compound, which would flow into a chamber and expel all the air to give a final solid structure. However, the product comes as a gel, that is semi solid. It does not flow into spaces in an enclosure.

Works well but very messy to use.
It’s very gloopy, it doesn’t set. So you can imagine how difficult it is to use in situ. You need rubber gloves and push the gel around the connectors. Overfill, then press the cover on and screw in place. It definitely appears to work, the junction box is below ground level and despite waterproofing the joints, eventually water got in and tripped the circuit breaker. I’ve had no recurrence since filling the junction box with the gel. In similar locations I think I would try marine silicone sealant.

Did the job
Bought this to help waterproof a PIR which had access holes for the wiring in the back of it and thus would be exposed to moisture ingress and for another job of encapsulating a choc connector in an exterior project. The gel is the consistency of jelly and tacky (it is not an adhesive though). It was easy to inject into hole to fill the PIR but as it didn’t really flow, I don’t know how well it encased the internals. For the other project, it was difficult to mould the gel around the item as the gel wanted to split apart. As mentioned it didn’t really want to stick to anything or flow. I was hoping the product would flow better and then set to a gel but it stayed the same consistency throughout. I think for a job like encapsulating junction boxes it works quite well but it would be expensive to do more than 1 or 2. I think in future I’ll use marine grade silicone to seal Rather than encapsulated items.

Goo not flow
Certainly works well but it's difficult to apply. It certainly doesn't flow and is more of a sticky goo that needs manipulating into the voids. Suggest overfill the junction box and as you fit the lid it will squeeze the product in.

Would not recommend
Appear to be half set when coming out of the tube meaning it did not flow, more like a jelly.
