Yes, cats are obligate carnivores, however small bits of soluble fiber (vegetables) are not only good for them, but part of their natural diet. In the wild cats would catch and eat field mice, etc., including the stomach contents, which contained vegetable matter. Obligate carnivore doesn't mean they cannot or should not have a small amount of vegetable matter
