Very well manufactured unit. Lights are bright! A couple things to know though: - the fitment isnt 100% exact footprint of the OEM 98-00 ford ranger brake light. BUT its only by millimeters and doesnt effect anything. - the light throw for the cargo light doesnt really caste directly into the bed. It hits the top of the tailgate. But still better than oem. - you will want to tighten the screws down pretty well to ensure there are no leaks in the gasket, but the hardware provided is quality to achieve this goal. Overall, very happy with the look and construction of this light!

Works great for my 2011 ford ranger. The foam was a little bit of a pain to get to seat properly, but other than that it was Plug n play. If you do want to have the white bed lights run you will need to build and run a third wire for the ranger, just like the listing does point out. Take the cab light out, should be 3 screws, 2 of which seat on metal plates that run to the light bulb. Above the cab light there is a wire with a hole that one of the screws goes into before seating on the metal plate, this is your hot side. I ran ~24 in of 18ga wire. The cab light end can be affixed with a ring terminal end, or I drilled out a male spade connector so the screw would run through it but stay tight. The other end I used a female pin connector from a Dorman - Conduct-Tite Assorted Ford Technician Terminals 10 Pack you can find at AutoZone, Part# 85377. I used a stiff steel wire to tie the 18 ga wire to, then from inside the cab I ran the steel wire above the headliner, you should be able to pull the headliner down just a bit to see where you’re running it. Theres a little brown plastic plate in the connector for the third brake light, slide it out and you can insert the female pin connector into the empty slot. Put the plate back in, plug your new LED light in, screw the cab light back on ensuring you get the ring terminal on your hot screw, and test it out. Happy with the product, and easy to install if you know roughly what you’re doing!

Fits 2007 Ford Ranger STX. My Ranger did not have a cargo light, to make this one work, I had to add a wire to the harness. Then I ran the other end across the underside of the headliner and finally to the dome light. There I used a red stakeon to put it under the interior dome light hot feed screw, it seems to work well. The foot print of the light is the same as my OEM one. The gasket will squish so that you get a perfect fit. The break light works as it did, cargo comes on with dome. To add to the harness, and avoid splicing you factory harness, you will need the small connector for your wire that will snap into the factory connector. I got lucky and happened to have one that fit.

This talight should come with an insurance discount! Aint a soul behind me that can say they didn't see my brake lights, this thing is so bright, they got no choice but to slow down. (Great product, bright, but i may be exaggerating a little bit.)
