hOmeLabs Dehumidifier 1,800 Sq Ft 8 Pint (MAX 24 Pint at 95°F, 90% RH)

We bought this to try to reduce the humidity inside the home during the summer heat. We were first pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is, and it has been able to remove enough water to keep things comfortable. Emptying it isn’t difficult, but I would advise you pour it carefully (we ended up making a bit of a mess as we weren’t prepared for that). We highly recommend this dehumidifier!

This thing works great. I have bout several other brands for my home but this is by far the best. I have a 1,600sq ft home. And I empty this dehu 3-4 times a day during the really humid days. My other dehus (same size, different brands) don't seems to run as well and they maybe fill once a day. It is a bit noisy but I like white noise.

Product arrived late and UPS did a horrible job of shipping it back to the warehouse and said it was delivered to my house. Sellers…please don’t use UPS, they’re having some serious problems since the Covid area. Anyways, I let the dehumidifier set standing proper for 48 hrs and plugged it in to start running it. It took a day for it to start seeing a little bit of water drip slightly from the hose that I connected to it (it does have a standard garden hose threads contrary to some people have said). It’s been a week and our humidity reading on the dehumidifier went from 56% to 46%….but all my other home automation devices that indicate humidity throughout my home shows my humidity went from 56% to 54% on average (I have 7 devices that indicate humidity). This dehumidifier is on the level of false advertising, seriously. It doesn’t do what it’s advertised to do! And after reading other reviews, I’m not an isolated incident, far from it. Yes, it does remove some water, but not enough for a 2800sqft house (new house, sealed construction, not an old house that leaks). I joke, thinking this thing dehumidifies the air by blowing hot air around the room, because that’s all this thing does, the exhaust is hot and just blows at full force right into your room. Good thing is that our basement is now warm….but humid and warm. I’m getting really tired of dealing with Made in China products, can’t wait for other markets to open up, especially if it’s here in America. So! I absolutely cannot recommend this product to my family, friends and all who read this review! Happy shopping!!

I've had this unit running in my basement for a month now, totally solved my moisture issue. I have the auto drain set up because it was filling up with water every 12 hours and it's far easier than emptying it twice a day. Overall very satisfied.

Great dehumidifier with a very good warranty. I have 2 rooms in the basement with one home unit in each for over 8 years but one unit died after great service which is longer than I expected. The other is still running. I set the humidistat an let it do its job. Of course I replaced it with a newer home dehumidifier and expect long service. I highly recommend this humidifier.

This is my third dehumidifier in life. My last one was a Aeocky but the compressor broke only after a year and it was light use. Let me start off by saying that no dehumidifier is quiet. You can only hope for the quietest possible. Your ether going to have execsive fan noise to drown out the compressor, or have compressor buzzing noise with a low fan. For me, my preference is to not hear a loud fan like a huricane. I much rather here the compressor over constant wind. With that being said, this home lab dehumidifier is about as quiet as it is going to get. This is the main reason why I chose it from the reviews. Pros: - Quiet fan (for a dehumidifier). I much rather hear a compressor over loud wind noise - Does a good job. I mean really good! I was impressed how it handled my 300 sqft living room. - Humid stat is about 3%-5% off. This might sound like a bad thing, but the Aeocky I had before was 10% off so I can live with 3%-5% off. - Quality operation panel and buttons. Has a good feel. - Good wheels - Long cord ... A++ on this. Cons: - Blows air from the side (big con here). I much rather have it blow air upwards but I will have to live with it. Better than a loud fan model that blows upwards. Note: I placed marine vents on there to push the air upwards - Plastic housing on it is a little thin (including the water bin). Everything else feels good quality... the control panel, the motor, decompressor has a good feel... it's only the plastic housing that feels a bit thin. But that is ok with me as that part is only cosmetic. - It would of been nice if there were 3 fan settings instead of 2 (would liked a lower one). - The fan runs a bit after the compressor cuts off. It almost makes it one continuous run with not ever shutting off. Just as soon as it cuts off, it'll cut on a few seconds later because the humidity came back from the fan running. Time will tell how it works out for me. But so far so good. My only real gripe is the side blow vent instead of upwards. Other than that, A++.

Purchase this dehumidifier for a cross fit with no air conditioning. It made a huge difference, no more wet floors. Although, it doesn’t cool the room, taking the moisture out was an improvement. We ended up buying a small garden hose and draining in floor drain. Otherwise, we will emptying every 2 hours which showed it was working.
