Poor customer service
This item was suppose to arrive 3 or 4 days before 6 June for a wedding I was supposed to attend. It only arrived on 18 June.I wrote to Amazon's customer service and was advised that the seller could not locate stock of this and yet they had indicated that the item is shipped and therefore neither I nor Amazon could cancel the order.I liked the item. But I am disappointed at the dishonesty. If the item could not be found, I wish I was notified instead of being stuck with no way of finding out whether I could get the item or when. I hope this feedback could be taken seriously. It is a great product nonetheless.

Obsessed! 😍 This tinted sunscreen is actual sorcery
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I’d never heard of Tower 28 before, but I was hunting for a tinted moisturizer/sunscreen that actually sells well and has glowing reviews. Took a chance on this one and I’m so glad I did — it’s legitimately one of the best products I’ve tried in years. The shade matched my light-medium skin tone perfectly on the first try (I barely needed any product at all). It gives the most beautiful dewy, healthy glow without looking shiny or greasy. My complexion looked even and airbrushed right away, and the best part? It lasted a full **36 hours** with zero touch-ups. I woke up the next morning and my skin still looked fresh. What kind of magic is this?!It layered seamlessly under my concealer and didn’t pill, crease, or separate. Throughout the day my skin felt incredibly smooth and supple every time I touched it. I’m not even exaggerating when I say my skin genuinely looks healthier after using it — more hydrated and calm. No breakouts, no irritation, just good skin.If you’re looking for a lightweight tinted sunscreen/moisturizer that actually performs like makeup but feels like skincare, stop scrolling and buy this. Tower 28 just earned a lifelong customer. 10/10, would repurchase in a heartbeat.I am also in love with the concealer and am trying the sculpting stuff, the blush and the lip gloss tomorrow and can’t wait!

Love the compliments!
Enough hydration without looking slick. Dewy and great coverage - not heavy at all and the color options are excellent.

Your skin, but better
So far, this has easily made it into my top 5 sunscreens, especially for someone with acne-prone skin, easily clogged pores, and a preference for products that offer coverage, relatively acne-friendly ingredients, hydration, and the ability to double as a primer or foundation.I used to have very oily skin, but over time my skin has become more normal-to-dry, so I’ve been looking for a hydrating sunscreen that won’t clog my pores—or at least won’t clog them as much as many other sunscreens I’ve tried. I was skeptical about this one at first, but decided to give it a chance, and I’m glad I did.I ordered the shade 28 Mulholland, and it’s honestly a match made in heaven for my summer skin tone. I’m neutral leaning olive with a slight warm undertone, and I often struggle with “neutral” shades from other brands because they rarely match me properly. Mulholland blends into my complexion beautifully. The coverage is also impressive. It does an excellent job covering redness and mild discoloration. Darker hyperpigmentation can still show through under certain lighting, but overall, I’d give the coverage a solid 9/10.One thing I noticed is that the formula applies much better when I don’t put it directly onto my face. I prefer dispensing some onto a makeup palette or the back of my hand, warming it up with my fingers, and then applying it to my face. This helps the product spread much more evenly and gives me a smoother, more natural-looking finish. The final result is smooth, dewy, and healthy-looking without being overly greasy. I wouldn’t call it completely lightweight, though. Even after wearing it all day, I can still feel a slight layer sitting on my skin rather than that fully absorbed feeling you might get from some chemical sunscreens. Personally, I don’t mind this because I actually prefer tinted zinc sunscreens to leave a protective-feeling film on my skin.It does transfer if you don’t set it with powder or setting spray, but this isn’t a major issue for me. Just be careful when getting dressed—or when hugging someone taller than you who happens to be wearing a white shirt!Ingredient-wise, I’m pretty happy with the formula because there aren’t many ingredients that I personally consider highly pore-clogging. That said, I still notice some clogged pores here and there after wearing it throughout the day, even when I double cleanse thoroughly at night. Because of that, I’d personally rate its acne-prone/non-comedogenic friendliness around 8/10.The product also gradually fades throughout the day, so reapplication is definitely important if you’re relying on it for consistent sun protection.Another thing to keep in mind is pilling. This sunscreen can pill when layered with incompatible skincare or makeup products. I’ve found that it performs best with minimal layering underneath—either very lightweight, fully absorbed serum/moisturizer if you’re extremely dry, followed by powder if needed. Too many products underneath or on top can disturb the finish. My other complaint is the size. You only get 30 mL, while some sunscreens around a similar price point offer closer to 50 mL, so this does feel slightly expensive for the amount of product you receive. On the positive side, the packaging is adorable and eye-catching. It’s compact enough to throw into a bag, and the cap feels secure, so I haven’t had to worry much about leaks or messes.Overall, I’d give the Tower 28 tinted sunscreen in Mulholland an 8.5/10 from the perspective of a very picky, acne-prone skincare reviewer. It isn’t completely pore-clog-proof, transfer-proof, or foolproof when layering, but the shade match, coverage, hydration, and natural dewy finish make it one of the better tinted mineral sunscreens I’ve tried. For someone whose acne isn’t especially active or whose skin is less clog-prone than mine, I can see this being an absolutely wonderful everyday product. One note: I would change the part about stopping sunscreen altogether during an active breakout. Acne treatment can make skin even more sun-sensitive, so continuing sun protection is generally important. If a particular sunscreen aggravates your acne, switching formulas and using hats/shade alongside sunscreen would be safer advice than recommending no sunscreen at all.
