What country/ town are they processed in?

They are proudly made in South America, which I am glad of. The cows aren't crammed into buildings....diseased and dying and pumped full of antibiotics to keep them alive and growth hormones to make them so big they can hardly walk. Those harmful chemicals are banned in most countries, but not ours unfortunately. Big business makes our laws by supporting politicians and big business is about personal profit and not public health. Table, chairs anything like that I buy American made. Food related items, I buy outside the US if possible. I buy Italian dog food....Farmina....and these South American bones.

How does this product differ from your "premium retriever rolls - 100% natural - usda/fda approved"?

Besides the obvious size difference (1" larger), our Premium Retriever Rolls (10-11") are made of Wholegrain / Top Grain rawhide, This means that the top layer of the hide is used. This product is thus made of a full grain material which is known for its high resistance and long-lasting chew properties. Our 9-10 Extra thick rolls use traditional rawhides which include only the inner layer. Both are single sheet rolls and both are 100% natural, handcrafted chemical free high-quality products.

Why does the product photo show rolls very tightly wound but the real product isn't anywhere close to being as tight?

Some are tight and some are "loose". No idea why. Our dog loves them all!
