This body butter is pretty good at moisturizing, I’m not a fan of the smell but if you have sensitive skin and like to layer your lotions it’s a great product. The smell is neutral, light and kinda fragrance free? I can’t really explain it. I’ve wore it by itself and with a lotion on top of it and to me it’s about the same. Even after rubbing it in it’s a little greasy but it goes away after awhile, as far as it being fast absorbing it kinda is. It does make my skin soft which I like but it not something that I would rave about it’s pretty much like any other body butter to me.

Top quality hydration. Absorbs easily with no greasy feeling. Hydration really lasts. Scent is light and is in the sweet vanilla range.

hi it’s me. the delicate woman with the skin texture of an ancient manuscript discovered in a salt cave. i have spent years attempting to moisturise myself correctly. YEARS. at this point my bathroom routine resembles a suspicious woodland alchemy operation conducted by a woman banned from several provinces for “unnatural softness”. i’ve tried the eos lotions everyone loses their minds over and somehow emerged both lightly burned and spiritually dehydrated. my skin absorbed absolutely nothing. incredible scenes. genuinely felt like my epidermis looked me in the eye and said “we reject this offering.” cyklar meanwhile is gorgeous. chic. beautiful. luxurious. financially devastating. using the full cyklar lineup daily starts to feel like maintaining a small european horse. every shower becomes a high stakes economic decision reviewed by the chaiconomy council. do i want glowing skin or would i also enjoy retaining access to iced chai. impossible to say. then this body butter entered my life like a wealthy widow arriving mysteriously by train. this stuff is THICK. not in a greasy “you now slide helplessly off furniture” way. more in a “your skin has finally been placed under the protection of the crown” way. it actually moisturises deeply enough that my legs stop looking like i’ve just crossed a desert carrying tragic family secrets. my current routine now involves mixing this with a little cyklar body oil or shower balm in my hand before applying it, which makes me feel less like a normal citizen and more like an apothecary witch quietly preparing a restorative salve before the kingdom falls to plague. highly recommend by the way. the naturium gives you that genuinely effective moisturising base and the lovely cyklar oils let you customise the scent situation depending on your mood and current level of psychological stability. also this leaves your skin looking moisturised from within. not oily. not shiny. just deeply alive. i caught sight of my shoulder in natural light the other day and briefly understood why victorian men kept writing poems after seeing a woman’s clavicle near a window. dangerous levels of luminosity. the texture? obsessed. dense whipped cream energy. every time i scoop some out i feel like i’m feeding my skin ceremonial butter before winter migration season. my body now expects this treatment. if i attempt to apply a thin watery lotion instead, my limbs react like disgruntled aristocrats being served peasant stew. some body butters vanish instantly like they’re evading international authorities. this one actually stretches. especially mixed with oil. important information because again: chaiconomy. i cannot be spending the equivalent of three ceremonial iced chais every fortnight just to keep my elbows from turning into archival parchment. and i need to discuss something deeply sinister. if i skip this after shaving, i get razor burn. if i use it, peace throughout the kingdom. i tested this repeatedly because i refuse to become one of those people assigning mystical healing powers to a body butter after one emotionally vulnerable evening. but no. every single time i omitted it, my skin reacted like an outraged noblewoman denied adequate housing arrangements during travel season. same razor. same shower routine. same water temperature. same dissociative stare into the middle distance while conditioner marinated in my hair. the only difference was this body butter. apparently she’s holding multiple positions within the company. love a woman with employment versatility. ✨tl;dr✨ thick, whipped, genuinely moisturising body butter that keeps my dry victorian-heir skin soft, helps calm razor burn somehow and pairs beautifully with body oils for custom little apothecary concoctions. my limbs have not looked this alive since the invention of central heating.

I have the weirdest skin - it's sensitive and so finicky, but I have had ZERO issues with this body butter and I love the way it feels. I usually am a post-shower lotioner and this feels like it genuinely works and absorbs into the skin while staying super lightweight! I kept getting lotion after lotion that sat SO heavily on my skin, it felt like it trapped in heat and gave that awful sweaty feeling, but I've NEVER experienced that with this body butter. I've also noticed a huge difference when I use it on my winter hands - I can put some on my painfully cracked hands before bed and will wake up with substantially softer, more moisturized hands that aren't as painful (just don't expect a miracle - of course, it doesn't magically heal them). I saw it has negative marks for scent but it smells like the ingredients and I find it very, very subtle, plus there's no lingering scent at all for me. Considering effectiveness and that a little goes a long way, I'm pretty sold on the product. I use the regular lotion on myself and my kiddos and it's also great! Three cheers for Naturium!
