This drone is SO MUCH FUN. The box is proper and packaged securely. Assembly was simple even with instructions being in translated English. Pretty straight forward set up and calibration. I was prepared for a few crashes while learning how to fly it. However, It was the exact opposite! This drone basicly flew itself. Easy take off, easy land! GPS and return home worked perfect! Very good beginner/hobby drone. I was very impressed with battery life and total control. It takes some practice to master it, but once you are comfortable bumping the speed up this thing is a blast! It is a really good buy for the price, I will give you some useful data. 1. It goes really, really high, I am a newbie so when I fly it very high is only to test it and then I have to use the return button to make it come back. 2. The return button works better than expected and very accurate. 3. Customer service including my personal rep is just outstanding! 4. Recorded video is decent quality as well as photos. 5. Absolutely worth the price.

Hi, I don't usually write reviews, but this is one of those times that just deserves it. My wife bought me the ScharkSPark FQ35 Thunder drone quadcopter for Christmas, and I LOVE it! It was my first drone ever, but it was very easy to set up and start flying. It comes with 2 batteries, and there was an option packaged with it to not only get an extra battery, but extend the warranty to 3 years as well. The drone has a camera onboard, which you can view (and record) on your smartphone using an app which you can download. You can also control it with the app, or just use the dedicated controller that comes with it. But enough about this great drone itself (you can check out the specs for yourself) - I want to tell you about the customer service! After a hard, near-fatal crash (fatal to the drone, not me) due to my still-developing pilot skills, my FQ-35 Thunder would not take off because of a stripped gear on one of the motors. My wife reached out to their Customer Service for help. While they were not yet able to supply net motors or gears at that time, they offered to send a returned Thunder to me (at NO CHARGE!) to use for parts. The "parts drone" arrived even sooner than they promised, and I was able to get my FQ-35 Thunder in the air again quickly. Many thanks to the ScharkSPark team for their excellent Customer Service, and to Vanessa (Nessa) Valdenor for her EXTREMELY fast response in hooking me up with the warranty extension/extra battery deal! Definitely join the ScharkSPark Facebook page after you get your drone! The admins/customer service reps there are ALL ABOUT trying to help us users.

The Camera sucks, it cant go the far from you and I cant seem to calibrate it will enough to keep it from floating around when trying to keep it steady to take a picture. But if you are looking for a good starter drone to practice flying Id recommend. I've crashed it a couple times and getting really effect it. If you are looking for a really good drone its going to cost you over $1k.

This drone is great for entry level into more advanced drones. My only problem is the first time I flew it one of the engines failed mid flight, I saw the prop stop and there's no reason for it. It just simply stopped I assume it's a defect. They sent me a new drone and this one flies great so hopefully all is well with this one but so far so good.

I have to say I was a little scared to test it out at first since I crashed a friend's drone before and broke a fan blade, but within 5 minutes I got the drone in the air and started messing with the controls. I did crash it once next to my garage door trying out the 360 flip (don't fly next to buildings specially if you're a beginner like me), however even though I crashed it, nothing broke which had me shocked. I've had it for a couple weeks now and I love it, my 10yr old daughter was glued to her phone and since we got the drone, shes spending more time outside flying it with me. Pros: - Installation is super quick and easy - little to no experience needed to fly - controller feels like a console control - comes with extra fan blades and screw driver - 2 batteries - great bang for the buck Cons: - if i had to be really picky, the battery was a little hard to slide in Other than that, great buy and easy to fly!!!

The drone itself has great agility for flight within the three different rate choices. The ability to hurricane turn at quick speed is nice, as addition to the decent camera fpv view! Average battery life (even though the warning lights come on earlier than needed) and nice that the drone itself folds much smaller for storage. For the price, if you're a decent pilot, you cannot go wrong! ***EDIT took the drone to the field for a brief flight before work. Not 1 minute into flight, the drone would not respond to my controls (about 40 feet out) it slowly started to spin in circles, so I attempted to run towards it, but it then decided to VERY quickly fly away spinning. Hit the emergency stop button twice, tried the return home but to no avail. The drone smashed into the ground and is now destroyed. I have no idea what interference could have interfered, but I am not happy. Ps, I have been flying in the rc community for over 15 years, as I am no amateur, I solely place the blame on this cheap product.

I ordered my Thunder FQ-35, my first drone and the extra battery and blade pack on Amazon Prime and received it within a couple of days. The packaging was great. My first impression was WOW!! It was light weight, slim (folded) and sleek looming. Due to inclement weather I was not able to take it out for a few days. During that time I contacted The flight academy and submitted my order number for the free battery pack and extended warranty. This arrived within a few days. While practicing using the drone in my basement. I found the battery power to last longer than I expected. Once the weather cleared I took the Thunder FQ35 out and had no issues other than having a great time flying it. I was able to grasp the controls within a couple of minutes and flew around some of my land, while taking pictures. I highly recommend anyone looking to purchase one, to do so from Schark Spark. They have several models that cost less than the one I purchased but I am happy I started with this model. I look forward to many hours of flying and taking pictures of our property. I have not only had a great time flying my drone, but have found the flight academy and ScharkSpark customer service to be exceptional. They are more than helpful with any questions I have had. This definately will not be my last drone from ScharkSpark.

The ScharkSpark Drone has been my first done ever. I got first the smaller version and since I was so delighted about the performance I decided to get the bigger version. I most say that there is a huge improvements in all areas compared to the smaller size one. Below are the areas: 1- Hovering - The Larger size can hover with less drift and it more stable. 2- Remote Layout - The layout on the controller is excellent. This simulates more a console remote. 3- Control - The lager and the smaller version are extremely easy to control. I believe this is where the larger shines even more, since the power is higher and the stability is better but the maneuverability was not sacrifice. 4- Battery - Similarly to the smaller version the larger version comes with two battery packs however, this larger version pack is better because it comes on it own enclosure and it is charged thru mini USB. This is a great improvement. Cons: 1- Battery pack could be hard to insert and remove. A spring loaded mechanism or a lever type ejection could be a nice upgrade. 2- Camera is still not as stable however, this is clearly an intrinsic issue on this type of drone since no gimbal for camera stability. In summary, this is a great beginner large drone. As its smaller predecessor it is easy to control, fair battery life and durable. I would recommend this product to people that would like an entry level drone before jumping to the 500 + drones.
