I am a mom of 4 and I have worked in a Nursery for about 8 years so I have dealt with TONS of different diaper rashes over the years and have used so many different brands of creams and ointments that I have never considered very effective at preventing rashes or treating an active rash. When my 3rd child was born I stumbled on this cream and figured I would try it. It’s amazing! I used it every night on my son after a bath and he never got a single diaper rash. I purchased it again when I had my 4th child and so far he has only had one diaper rash because one night I forgot to apply it before bed and he had a really bad bowel movement overnight and it dried to his skin, causing a very horrible, red, bleeding and oozing rash. So for the next 12 hours I changed his diaper hourly, cleaned him with a wet cloth by gently dabbing, and applying a layer of this diaper cream at each diaper change. After his evening bath I laid him down on a towel on the floor with no clothes or diaper to “air out” his skin for about 20 minutes and then applied a layer of cream and a new diaper right before bed. The next morning the rash was almost completely gone. Halfway through the 2nd day his rash was nonexistent. I found this to be remarkable considering when I’m at work in the Nursery oftentimes when the babies get that severe of a rash it turns into a weeklong battle to get rid of, and sometimes gets worse to the point of requiring a visit to their pediatrician for a prescription strength cream/ointment. Yes, the cream is very thick, but that’s part of the reason I think it is so effective, it creates a strong barrier to the skin that other ointments and creams cannot (other creams tend to separate when applied or are easily rubbed off from the diaper or washed off from urine). Warming this cream up between your fingers helps to spread it on more easily. And because it’s so thick a little goes a long way so one tub will last a long time. So to sum it up, this cream is magic! My only complaint is there doesn’t seem to be an option for 2oz tubs anymore. In the past I was able to buy a 4oz tub to keep at the daycare and a 2oz tub to keep in the diaper bag because the smaller size made it more travel friendly. Please offer a travel size!!

This is the best diaper rash cream on the market. I’ve been a mother for over 19 years and have battled diaper rash with all of my kids sadly. With all the other brands it’s a very difficult war with ups and downs and moments of sad defeat. I was gifted 2 baby butz jars and put it in my baby care drawer until we had a bad bout of diaper rash with my sensitive skin baby, we had tried everything else we had in our diaper changing kit until I remembered I had this in my baby care drawer. After days of trying to get control of the situation, within 6 hours and 2 diaper changes his diaper area was pretty much back to normal! This stuff is like magic! So I used it any time he got even a little bit red. I recently forgot I had run out and my baby got a bad bout of diaper rash. I ordered some off Amazon and while I waited for it to arrive used other brands I had on hand. I had forgotten how great Baby Butz is compared to the other brands, my poor baby! We finally got it this morning. Again after 3 days dealing with this rash using other creams (and failing to see improvement) it’s finally clearing, I will be more vigilant about keeping this stocked in my diaper changing area. Also I see some people complaining it’s too thick to spread, it is difficult but you have to warm it up and work it a bit between your fingers before spreading it on your poor sensitive baby that’s got raw and red skin. 🙁 It’ll be better within hours, mama you got this! ❤️

I have been using Desitin and while there is nothing wrong with Desitin and it works on my baby, I happen to come across this product and thought I would give it a try based on the great reviews it has. Both products are thick paste which is awesome that it doesn't get wiped off by baby easily, Baby Butz Cream definitely smells better and it is a lot easier to wipe it off my hand after applying it on baby. Also it is much cleaner and doesn't form those yellow-ish solid residue after baby poops. Much easier to clean after the baby. Also if you are able to choose, I highly recommend to buy it from Olen Cosmetics Corporation. I would give 10 stars (if I could) on Amazon's 5 stars rating scale! I had some concerns about the product after I made the purchase. Seller not only took time to explain to me, but also sent me a brand new one to reassure me even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with the one I previously received. The BEST SELLER I have ever encountered with years of experiences purchasing from Amazon. It almost makes me feel that whoever runs the company has some sort of obsession that they have to provide the best customer service or something... They probably have issues but it works in my favor as a consumer :)

If I could give this product 5 stars, I totally would! This paste is AMAZING! My daughter is 15 months old and had never suffered from a diaper rash. My husband and I have always been very proactive with the frequent diaper changes, diaper rash cream, and baby powder. A few weeks ago, my daughter started getting a red rash in her private area. It looked like ringworm and when we spoke to her Pediatrician, we were advised to purchase antifungal cream and use that. After a few days of using the antifungal cream, her rash started spreading. At this point, we were both starting to get really concerned. We took her to the doctor’s office and he confirmed it wasn’t a fungal infection. He said it was most likely her skin being sensitive to the diapers and that it was okay and would go away on its own. He even said that she might get it on and off until she’s completely out of diapers. As parents, we could not accept that there was nothing we could do. After doing lots of digging on Amazon, I came across this Butt Paste. The reviews and photos made me want to try it on my daughter, so I bought it. I HAVE ZERO REGRETS! After just one to two days of applying this cream with every diaper change, her rash DISAPPEARED! Just like that, poof! This cream definitely works the best out of any other cream I’ve used (Balmex, Desitin, A&D). I will definitely be purchasing more and using this on my future children!

This cream is a little harder to spread but that’s because it works!!! It’s thick enough to actually stay on the butt through a poop to prevent diaper rash. It is amazing. My newborn kept pooping small amounts multiple times in the middle of the night and this was the ONLY thing that finally worked for the severe diaper rash/literal open wounds on his butt. Other reviews say diaper rash creams cleared up their severe diaper rash in a day didn’t touch this cream. It is amazing. The only thing that will actually stay on the butt and protect through a poop! I’m a lifer!

This is the best diaper cream when the consistency is THICK. Most of the time when I order I receive THICK diaper creme and there is ZERO complaints. Every so often though, I will receive a MUCH THINNER and CREAMIER consistency diaper cream and it DOES NOT MEET THE STANDARDS. Would receive 5 stars if the consistency was more consistent.

BUY THIS CREAM. My baby had a diaper rash (likely caused by yeast) and was given two prescriptions- nystatin for the yeast and hydrocortisone by his dermatologist for the redness and inflammation. Despite using both for over a week, my baby’s bum was still red and had little pustules and was spreading. Within just a day or two of using this cream it was SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER and totally clear just a few days later!! My sister who has three littles told me about this and she was spot on! This stuff stays on so much better than any other cream! Word to wise- don’t apply with your bare hands because it won’t come off! Use a disposable medical glove (or baby bum spatula-but that doesn’t work as well).

Been dealing with incurable diaper rash for over 3 solid weeks - took baby to pediatrician after trying all the usuals - Desitin, A&D, every one on the shelves - and even the prescription creams didn't touch it! Decided we had nothing to lose so gave Baby Butz a try and amazing improvement in first overnight!! Absolutely a miraculous improvement in less than 24 hours.

I love the scent of this cream. Most definitely light and more fresh scent than most zinc products. No lavender, etc. I have eczema and zinc creams are the only thing that helps. I wanted to try this out. I liked how it spread on my skin and removed my pain from the eczema flare up but it didn’t help with the insane itching like the D. cream does. I would highly recommend this cream if you aren’t battling extreme eczema flare ups like me. It is my second choice and second favourite for lack of reactive ingredients. Excellent product. Highly recommend trying it. Thank you.

Its the best bum cream for babies irritated bum!!! Literally by the next diaper change it was like HUGE difference for the better.

I tried so many diaper creams before finding this one and none work as well as Baby Butz. Minimal ingredients, thick consistency… this worked better than anything else to help baby’s rash heal.

I’m absolutely blown away that there are reviews warning people not to buy this! I tried every brand in search for one that worked while not irritating my youngest skin and this was the only one! I have two kids that are extremely sensitive to creams and soaps but my son is beyond sensitive, he will have full head to toe rashes from being hugged by someone whose clothes have been washed with regular laundry detergent. This diaper cream saved me from the emergency room for extreme diaper rash that lead to open wounds and then antibiotic rounds. This cream is truly amazing, no burning + stays put to provide protection in between diaper changes. Please if you are struggling with creams that don’t stay on and/or babies with very sensitive skin it’s worth giving this a try!

This is a great cream for diaper rash - it’s thick & a bit difficult to apply but works well. What I don’t like is the price increases on Amazon! It was listed for ~$12 last week and now it’s over $17, I’m not repurchasing at this price.
