Orbit 55461 Voyager Screw Top Gear Drive Rotor Water Sprinkler Head

I recently installed the Orbit Watermaster 55461 Voyager 4-Inch Adjustable Pop-Up Gear Drive Sprinkler Heads in my garden, and they have been performing exceptionally well. This 2-pack set offers great value and quality. The adjustability of these sprinkler heads is a standout feature. Easy to install and adjust range and distance.

This sprinkler has a 3/4" inlet so if your system uses 1/2" fittings, be prepared to add a reduction stem! Other than that, it works perfectly.

I prefer these to other brands as the adjusting of the spray arc and distance are super easy. They seem to be as well made as anything else and make it that much faster to be up and running.

As pictured, nothing else included. No tool/key or nozzles, refuse your old ones or buy more. It comes with nozzle 7 pre-installed but I prefer the 3.0 nozzle, which I did not have so I put in 4.0 instead. The top plate does not have the cutout for lifting the nozzle with the Orbit key, so adjustments are a bit more difficult than with the Orbit Professional I am replacing, 3rd pic. Try to set all the adjustments before installing, like the rotation degrees, then install it clocked to the correct position. My sprinkler was MISSING after winter, no idea where it went, so I could not reuse my 3.0 nozzle.

Great price for a pair. Work well. Easy to adjust.

No issues with installing and adjusting coverage area (larger, black screw). However, the smaller silver screw that is supposed to adjust the distance of the water (shown in photo) doesn't screw down deep enough to interrupt the water flow coming out of nozzle. It seems this screw is exclusively used to hold the nozzle into the head. In order to reduce the distance, I had to replace the nozzle to the desired distance. Rather than the stock nozzle that comes with the head and appears to throw a stream of water without any misting, smaller nozzles, in my case, a 1-GPM nozzle needed to be used. Otherwise, no complaints.

Meno diffuso e conosciuto rispetto a hunter ecc tuttavia funziona molto bene. Peccato che non sia riuscito a trovare gli ugelli sostitutivi (quindi devo accontentarmi di quello preinstallato. Compete con hunter pgp peccato solo non poter disporre di ugelli alternativi.

I find this sprinker has been improved to make adjustments easier, versus my older heads. Once I caught onto the instructions, was able to adjust for just the 90 degree arc. No longer watering the street ! (discovered the filter, not that I've had issues in the past, Water pressure great enough to over come any issues.)
