Somersets Original Shaving Oil for Men

Very good quality

Recommend by a friend over 15 years ago and after trying other brands this is the one that beats the rest hands down. Just 7-8 drops and after massaging it in on a warm face for a few seconds you can shave away with confidence. Never had razor burn and along with a good quality blade like a Gillette Mach 3 works a treat every time

Good for my shaving needs.

I have purchased this oil over a number of years and prefer it to the other brand which seems to be everywhere. The smell of Somersets is spot on in my opinion and worth paying the bit extra for. It also gives a nice close shave but I do use 6 to 7 drops. If this sounds like an advert it isn’t meant to be but I do confess to being a big fan of the stuff!

Somerset’s shaving oil is a good choice. I usually use Nivea Shaving Gel, but a canister of shaving gel is quite bulky if camping - and space at a premium. I think the only reason I don’t use shaving oil all the time is tradition / habit. Somerset’s Shaving Oil is non irritating. It’s a good choice for dvery day shaving,

I view shaving oil as superior to other forms of shaving lubrication, and i keep giving back to their for the best shave, feeling, and scent! Mystery why this wouldn't be the choice of the world. Marketing budget I guess...

I've used Somerset's for many many years and have tried alternatives. Somerset's is by far the best on the market.

Over the years I have wasted my money on a lot of different shave oils and have always come back to Somerset's. It can be used alone after applying to a wet face face with wet hands. During the shave it works best if you splash your face with water while shaving. It also works well as a pre-shave under a foam or gel. I have been an avid fan for well over a decade.

Ich rasiere mich damit auch im Gesicht, da ich einen leichten Frauen Bart habe. Ich bin begeistert weil ich eine sehr empfindliche Haut habe und von anderen Rasierhilfen Pickel bekomme. Außerdem ist es erfrischend und kühlend auf der Haut, sehr angenehm.

Best shave oil I ever used, been shaving my head for 15 yrs

Not as good as Proraso Sandalwood Pre-Shave (Red), but it's what I use for travel to save space. Please do not take my 4 stars as a disparagement. This oil really works well, the bottle is tiny and made of soft plastic. 6-7 drops are all you need after a hot towel. It's just at home I prefer a glass jar of proraso "red" cream.
