Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Case (2020) - Matte Black

Spigen has been my go to for cases for the last 7 or so years and they have never failed me. I have used a few other companies in this time, but I always come back to Spigen for the combo of price, durability and style. In particular, this model (Rugged Armor) is my absolute favorite. It is a fantastic merging of aggressive styling (without being over the top), good protection, low bulk and great price. This one fits the S20+ perfectly, nice and snug without being so tight as to be hard to remove the phone. Cutouts for the charging port, camera module, mics and speaker are precise. Also, the volume and power button molding it perfect as well, with the power button having a ridged texture that makes it easy to tell it apart from the volume buttons simply by feel. If there is any fault with it I would say it is that dust gets into it so when you remove the case you will need to clean the back of the phone. Other than that, just a another GREAT product from Spigen!

I've used Spigen Rugged Armor for years on my Galaxy S7 and my phone never had one issue even though I dropped it several times. Spigen makes the best cases. They aren't big and bulky and they meld seamlessly with the phone. I had the same case for over 4 years as I just upgraded to the S20. The durability of the cases is unmatched. Like I said, I've dropped my S7 many times (even on concrete) and my screen never cracked, my phone never got dinged. The case took a beating, but even after all those years it looks great. Of course, it has some scratches, but seeing as though it's a black case, it blends in very well. But, for a 4 year old case, I'll take it. So, for me, it was a no brainer to trust my new S20 with another Spigen Rugged Armor. It's cheap, yet awesome protection and makes it easier to hold your phone without adding bulk. Plus, it's attractive and doesn't scream, "Hey, look at me! I'm a big ugly phone case!" Great product!

I love the Spigen cases and have used them for many generations of phones now. I prefer them to cumbersome Otterboxes or overpriced Speck cases, to name a couple. I've used these for all of my Galaxy smartphones since the S6, and I mean it when I say that not a single one of them has been broken from all the drops that occur with everyday use. All phones wereglass front and back, and all of them were retired for either software or hardware reasons. As soon as I ordered my S20+, I looked for the Spigen Rugged Armor for it. It adds hardly anything to the size of the phone, but still protects it all the same. I hardly even entertain the idea of buying any other cases at this point. I only purchase them when I get a new phone, and it's basically Spigen by default at this point. Seriously, give them a try, it's truly impressive.

My first experience with Spigen and I was happy with the case. After maybe 2 years of use, it began to get a little stretchy due to the heat of my location, but I very recently bought a new Spigen case and screen protector for my new phone and it has already shown value.

I have been using this exact type of case for my past several phones, and whenever I upgrade I will likely buy another one of these for my new phone. It's slim enough that it doesn't feel bulky, which is a personal pet peeve of mine. Yet, it provides great protection against drops. It has certainly saved my screen more than once. Older variants of this case has flat sides, but Spigen added ridges to give better grip - a nice touch. The buttons feel solid and precise, almost as if there is no case on top of them. The design is minimalist, but it's got little bits of style that keep it from looking too plain. Would definitely buy again!

I have two case that I use for my S20+ that I swap out depending on the need, or when I just feel like a change. This is the one I choose to use for work as it's a little more rugged than my other one. I feel as this will help with my work in the field as the texture is nice for using my phone with gloves on. The raised edge keeps my screen off the table when placed face down. This is always a must for me with any case I buy to protect against screen damage should something heavy get placed, or dropped, on my phone. The buttons are noticeably tactile, another win for this case. With some other cases I have had you either had to press pretty hard to get the buttons to work, or they just flat out didn't work at all. This is common annoyance with some cases that come out now. In the end I am pleased I decided to go with this case to protect my $1000+ phone from damage. I have dropped it a few times with no damage to be seen.

Great case. Durable, easy to get on/off, fits well and inexpensive. Doesn't cover the curved glass edges of my Samsung galaxy S20+ which is perfect since Samsung has viewing to the edges. I have been using this same Spigen case on my last 3 phones (this current S20, pixel 2 XL, and a samsung before the pixel) and they always fit perfectly so my conclusion is Spigen has the phone sizes down pat so I would be confident in purchasing it for any phone type. Also, there are no issues with its thickness relative to wirelessly charging the S20. I put it on the stand and it immediately picks up and starts charging. Definitely recommend this case.

It's a nice case. Doesn't add too much weight or thickness to the phone, and it doesn't interfere with cordless charging. The texturing on the back also makes it easier to hold on to when my hands are damp. But, when I try to take it off to clean my phone it invariably separates into its two component pieces. Not sure if it's supposed to be glued or not. Not a huge deal, but I'm surprised it pops apart so easily. Would still buy another one, though.

i've always bought a spigen for all my previous phones and since i bought a new phone (thank you student discount), i needed a new case so i looked at spigen. they don't disappoint and got what i was looking for. while i would have love the case with a screen protector (they don't have any for the S20+), this case is perfect. adds the much needed grip so the phone doesn't slip out. also, very thin so no added bulked. been a happy customer. still a happy customer

Sehr gut aussehende Hülle! Die beiden Carbon-Streifen sind echt sehr hübsch anzusehen. Durch die Riffelung an den Seitenrändern und die etwas "rauere" Oberfläche ist das Handy/Hülle super easy zu halten. Der Bildschirm wird ebenfalls durch minimal überstehende Ränder (oben und unten am Handy) geschützt. Fast alle Öffnungen sind perfekt ausgeschnitten. Zum Schutz kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, da mir das Handy noch kaum bzw. nur aus geringen Höhen hingefallen ist. Die Struktur der Hülle und die vier kleinen Bumper in jeder Ecke lassen allerdings darauf schließen, dass mein Handy sehr gut geschützt ist. Was man vielleicht noch bearbeiten könnte: -Der Ausschnitt für die Kamera ist etwas zu groß. So kann sich leicht Staub in dem dadurch entstehenden Spalt sammeln. -Die Seitenstege der Hülle sind mir etwas zu weich. Hier könnte man evtl. noch eine Versteifung einfügen. Fazit: Für knapp 10€ ist das eine unglaublich hochwertige und gut aussehende Hülle.

For the S20+ , fits perfect, even with the extra protection tempered glass (UV applied). The problem is that the phone is too big , so with the cover even when is very small , increases the size.

This cover fits really well and is thick enough to protect the rear camera lenses and has slightly raised edges top and bottom to protect the screen. After almost a year's use it has protected my phone a number of times when dropped. All in all, it's been perfect for my needs.

Coque suffisamment souple, épouse très bien la forme de mon Samsung S20+, sans grossir la taille du téléphone. On peut appuyer les boutons latéraux du téléphone facilement et avec souplesse, ce qui est très important. La prise en main du téléphone est facile et sécurisante, pas de risque que le téléphone glisse des mains. Cependant le toucher de la coque donne une sensation granuleuse, ce que je n'apprécie pas trop mais rien de rédhibitoire. Après avoir examiné sous tous les angles, je pense que cette coque protégera bien mon téléphone en cas de chute sur sol dur.
