Very well-made and sturdy. It was easy to put together and looks great. The on/off switch rests on the floor. Great value for the price! I ordered a second one for a different room.

This is a beautiful lamp and works great. The shade does seem to be made of plastic, even though it says glass. However, unless you're going to get right up close to it and really study it, it looks like real glass. The floor switch is nice and allows me to turn it on and off from my desk, without needing to get up. It was easy enough to put together and I think it is a good value for the money. I quite like it.

Great lamp, great price and easy to put together. It lost one star because it wobbles a little after it was connected to the base. It doesn't seem to be able to be tightened any farther.

Love this lamp, after I bought it I saw reviews saying it’s cheap plastic material and I was worried that I wasted my money but when it arrived it was beautiful. It’s heavy feeling and sturdy the lamp “shade” does not feel like plastic to me, I would have thought it was glass if no one told me! I truthfully recommend if you’re looking for a good quality affordable lamp. No problems whatsoever.
