Can I use more than one type of pad? What pads are recommended?

AUVON TENS Unit is compatible with all the electrode pads with a 2mm pin connector, regardless of their shape, size or brand, so you can use a pair of 2” pads in Channel A and use a pair of 2” x 4” pads in Channel B. For the recommended areas of different pads, the 2” pads are suitable for small areas like joints, and the 2” x 4” pads are good for your shoulder, as for the 4” x 8” pads, they are the best for your back. I need a unit that will do eight pads (four per channel). Will this unit do that, or do you make another that will? Also, where do I buy the lead wire

But if you need a unit that will do 8 pads, then we have a newer version which allows 8 pads to be used at the same time, you can find it on AUVON Amazon store page. No, it states on the bottom that is is made in China.

Do you have to have the gel to work?

Thanks for your question! No, you don’t have to add the gel to the pads before use. The pads that come with the TENS device are sticky, so there is no need to add more gel to the surface which is cost-effective to save your money to buy gel. Not of good quality

The sticking pads do not contain adequate adhesive gel. The booklet provided with instrument does not clearly mention the mode to be used for TENS.

Okay; initial review was 💯% Love this! That was before using the unit- I did post I had not used it yet, but the features are amazing. Now after using the unit and charging it one time it’s amazing how long one charge lasts. I’ve used it every day since it’s arrived. Another great feature is you can set how many minutes you would like to use the unit and what kind of pulse/stimulation you want,(not much difference between the settings). One big NEGATIVE issue is the adjustments are very touchy-I have had to start over several times each time I use the unit to get it right. All the adjustments are made on the same middle circle ⭕️. If you look at the picture I provided. I ordered my mom one on her account which I will have to return because of this. An elderly person will have issues with this, my father couldn’t use his fingers to dial the smartphone. I had my neighbor try it and he wasn’t able to get it. This is also slim, not a bulky gadget so it will easily fit into a pocket. Looking forward to using it tonight!
