Splash About Go Splash Swim Vest Buoyancy Aid for Children Learning to Swim

Not a life saving device but wanted for added peace of mind. We are always within arms reach of the kiddos in the water, but wanted something to also help them stay afloat. The kids love wearing them and they work well!

In order to save your time; if you are going on a boat and you need a life saving vest, do not buy this one. If you are going to great wolf lodge or wanting to do some casual water play, this would be great. I bought this vest for my 16mo old to go to great wolf lodge where we knew there would be life guards and adult supervision at all times, but wanted to add just a little extra confort of a vest. Since coast guard approved infant life vest has extra padding behind the neck area, which makes it very bulky for my wobbly walker 16 mo old to wear for hours. We loved this vest for casual water play. Comfortable and light enough for her to wear for hours. I did add a strap for extra safety but could have been ok without(see picture) . Small size fit great for my 20ish lbs 16mo old.

ordered for my two-year-old granddaughter. very well made fit perfect. it is not a life preserver. as the package and says. it is to be used with supervision. it's perfect for getting in the water with her being right there with her so she can learn how to hold herself up and eventually float. recommended

My 16 month old daughter HATES wearing a life jacket. We’ve tried many, as we are around water most of the time in the summer. Mind you, this isn’t a USCG approved personal floatation device, but it is the only wearable float vest that my daughter TOLERATES. She’s a tough critic, so the fact that she TOLERATES this vest is a win, in my hypothetical parenting book😜. I rate this vest 4/5 stars, because there is just a bit of room for improvement. Here are my suggestions for making this product a “5 star item” (IMO): 1. add a comfortable strap to the vest that fastens between the legs on a toddler at the lower limit of the recommended weight range for the vest. The vest easily slips off of my daughter. She is on the smaller side, but within the recommended age range of 1-3. 2. Add a hand strap near the top of the vest for parents or caregivers to hold onto their child with minimal movement restriction.

Very nice, I love that it is light weight, and the neck isn’t too tight, my son doesn’t seem to mind wearing it at all. Also love the pattern on it. Great quality for the price, floats well in water.

This does work! It helps my girls swim. It allows her to go under the water and still supports her. It is not a life so I g device. I took away 2 stars because it did rub her raw under her arms and around her neck. I would advise no more than an hour.

My 17 month old grandson was absolutely safe with it on and very comfortable!
