I use this paste to make broth. I also like to use it when I sauté or to enhance the flavor of a recipe. It is salty so I cut way back on salting my foods when I use it. It has a long shelf life in the refrigerator and comes in many flavors. My favorite is the sautéed onion.

For vegetarian, gluten-free dishes, this is indispensable. It is so much better than bullion cubes, in taste and convenience. I use for casseroles, soups (especially egg-drop soup), flavoring rice, lots of things.
