Great e-collar. It fits perfectly, was easy to set up, and feels like a quality piece of equipment. When introduced properly and conditioned the way Tom Davis suggests, it can really help get you and your dog on the same page. The nick stim feature is great because it allows for clear communication without overwhelming the dog. The vibration is strong, so I only use it for emergency situations or when I need to break my dogs off a prey scent. very durable, my dogs swim in it. Always buy the best when it comes to your dog. This is a 5-star product and a great tool for building off-leash freedom.

I work with dogs for a living and I am no stranger to Dogtra collars. But I had dreamed of specifically getting this one with all of its features. The vibration is strong just like the other collars. And even with having bought it a while ago, I have yet to need to charge it. Which speaks wonders of its battery life. Another reason I got this collar instead of the other Tom Davis collar, was the difference in the collar. I absolutely love the way you can adjust the collar, it helps fit it to any dog I work with. Very easy to use and worth the money.

This works well. My dog no longer needs it because I made sure not to abuse the power of it. You want to use the beep, and buzz, more often. Not the shock unless it’s super necessary. Be sure to YouTube the maker of this. Don’t abuse your dog with this product or it will only make your experience worse. I have a bully breed, he is one year old and his recall has improved significantly after using this. He’s doing so well. He’s American bully XL. Please be smart and educate yourself before using this. It’s amazing if done correctly. U see in the pic, he’s in my gigantic yard, no longer needing it because he will not escape my yard because I consistently trained him with it. Before, I could not have him in my yard with out a leash or the collar. He scaled the cliff hill, which is above a river, just to go the my one neighbors yard. Now he won’t dare. It’s wonderful!

The first ecollar we got from a trainer died after 6 months. I figured he gave us an old one and purchased a new one on amazon. Now, this new one isn’t working very well. Where I could feel the stimulus around 19 initially, after a month I had to turn it way up to around 50 to feel anything. I think there’s quality issues with the dogtra products. It’s a shame because I like the design of it but they need to last at least 12 months.

This is AMAZING! I never actually have to use the zap feature because the tone alone breaks my dog's tunnel vision. The guy's videos that go with this are so helpful!

Perfect upgrade. If you think you might use the 280C for two dogs, get this on and buy another collar later. I bought this and used my older collar with this controller. Love this system. Love the new rubber band type fast-x clip collar strap. Better that the bungie cord collar strap.

I had a dogtra collar years ago that lasted me many years. This collar irritates me. I charge it and then shut it off and don’t use it for a few days, and the collar dies. It turns on and makes the sound but doesn’t respond to the remote until charged again. The battery life isn’t good. I spend over $200 for a collar that fits well but isn’t worth using. I’m outside the return window so I will have to buy another collar and it will be a different brand for sure.
